I think deep insde you're an Oliver Kloseoff fan. That's why you're Olivia Kloseoff. It's a good thing though. He's a very nice and helpful guy in my book. I'am a very clean person, that's why I felt insulted because the way she said it, she was refering to the majority of the people on this board....and at the end..saying believe it or not, there are few nice clients. So bottom line...90 percent of the clients are dirty.
In my opinion, if it weren't for us, they will have no income. We're giving them the business, and they're complaining. I deal with clients too at my job. If there was somethng I didn't like about the client, I won't say anything because they are the one to put food on my table. I'am respectful and when I go for a massage, I want a real massage. I'am paying between $50 and $60 for an hour , the same rate a trained massotherapist makes and all I get is a girl who doesn't even know what a massage is. And above all, she cut my massage short by up to 30 mins. I never ask the girl for anymore than a massage. They are the one who usually offers them to me. Why can't these girls take a massage course for crying out loud? I think in general, eforum.xxxites are respectful people. If the massage is atleast acceptable, and the time of the massage is not cut short, most will leave happy(Check out absolu thread). I can go on and on forever since I have so much bad experience, but I'll keep it short. I have a few places and girls that I am satisfied with and for the last few months I've been sticking to them. I won't waste anymore money on bad experience. if the "Judge" or "Princess Diana2" have the nerve to identify themselves, we'll see how much business you'll get from then on. It's all about business, respect to customers. Yes, I understand that sometimes there are disrespectful customers, just let them know how you feel and tell them to never come to see you again. Simple as that. Another way to avoid these disrespectful customers is to go work in a legitamate parlour. That's if you're certified.

Jimmy I agree with you,way too many so-called MASSAGE providers out there who don't have a clue how to give a massage.

Ihave a hobby of my own:I read...
I read everywhere: sitting on the toilet boll, having my breakfest/dinner/ supper, before I go to sleep(best way to fight insomnia), on the bus or metro. I don't have many friends, I don't go out. When I find an interesting book i can not sleep before I get to the end of story. Some of my true friends even dropped me a " get a life, girl". My books, as my family and work-are my life and I like it this way. I can have an endless conversation about Tolstoi, Kundera, Pavic, Marquez- they are a part of my life. If I didn't have a reading, I would write something myself and then reread it.
Does it make a freak out of me?
I know people making fools of themselves running after the latest version of "Spiderman returns", others spending all of their incomes on theathers or symphonic orchestras tickets. Others living for fashion goods, others spending their lifes in clubs, others .....
It's a hobby or life or whatever it is ...
Oliver is not the only one around the board, living in it. For that he is not exeptionnal. Maybe it is his life, then what's so bad about it?
I don't see why someone would judge one for and about his hobby.
My income depends on people like him. Likewise editors and producers build their houses on our passions without telling us what they think of us, freaks.
I didn't meet Oliver yet, but a friend of mine did- she had nothing bad to say about him.
In fact we only discuss bad clients and bad experiences, if Oliver was not of our talk- then he is not in a category of non desired clients- no matter how bad his writting may sound on the board.
When the things he says appear like meat-talk, It's sad but it's perfectly on a total agreement of other members, who are not being judged for it. Not all of them , but yet..
I don't think that Oliver conducts himself as an ass with an MP or SP, even he has (supposely) no respect toward them (us).
Some of my clients have met Oliver in person- I never heard anything bad about him, only positive things.
Yes, he may seem strange to people who don't share his points and hobby, but it's his own way, so lets be more objective and judge less.

Olivia, the same way it was unfair of Oliver to put the judge down without knowing her (his mcdonald's statement), it's also unfair of you to single out Oliver as a bad client or a low life.

You definitely are not happy with the way some clients behave with you, but you just sound like a very frustrated woman and continuing in this direction won't do much. What about taking a deep breath? No one can deny the fact that you probably meet assholes once in a while, but it's the same as in every profession. Don't generalize please. Have you tried working at a different place and see if you get better clients? Or maybe you should just leave this line of work.....

Actually, bad things can happen to good guys.
The smelly butt- is not a social and it can happen to very respectfull people-good clients.
I would feel very incomfortable to talk to them about it, even if it completely ruins the experience for both.
When I go to my gyno-I take shower- making sure that the part of my body for the examination is clean. When I go see my dentist I brush my teeth.
Actually, gynecologist have choosen his job and assumes it, but doen't have to do with unclean between-legs.
It's the matter of respect for the job that is done for us and by us.
And please it is not a secret anymore- we are adults finally or not?- massage parlors -most of them are not there for massages, but for mileage,they are just called " salon de massotherapy" or " clinique de massage", because it looks better for the passers by and for most of you.
Expecting or willing to receive a good massage?-most of you know where to go for it.
Short cuts- are not professional, massage skills lack-is not desirable, smelly ass- is bad and disrespectfull.
That's it , discussion should take it's end here, nothing else to add.

When a resto advertises as a steakhouse,I assume steak is is specialty,not hotdogs.
I apply the same to massages,if the girl can't give a descent massage,she has no bisuness in a massage parlour.All the rest should be like the potatoes and beans,secondary.IMHO.
Most of them claim to offer swedish,therapeutic massages,btw.
They can't provide massage?Then say so.It will save clients lots of $ and both parties lots of time.
Those who can't provide a real massage then,shouldn't charge the same as those who can.

Back in the times of my work in a parlor there was a lady who had 2inch nails- you wouldn't like her to put these hands on your back- guess what kind of massage she was doing- she was booked solid at all times.
She is still in business - MASSAGE places and does pretty well, let me tell you.

Getting on the topic of smelly butt crack, I think that massage parlour as well as independents should have showers available to clients. Although, I've never been to a massage parlour without showers, but I've been to independents who refuse to let clients use their shower. So before you say the clients have smelly butt crack, did you have a shower available for him? Also, if he refuse to shower and he doesn't look too clean, the girl can refuse him.
If after the shower, he still have smelly butt crack then verify if this person is an adult. Maybe he still needs his mother to wash him. Seriously, if after the shower he still smells, I don't know what's wrong. I can't imagine an adult who doesn't even know how to wash themselves. I did remember a guy at my gym who had this funny smell on his body even after the shower. The smell was strong and I believed it was due to some medical condition. Also, they do sell air mask at the dollar store....3 for a dollar ...just kidding

What you said is true also Cosmo, usually when I call a new place, I usually asked the receptionist if they have ceritfied therapist. I'am not necessarily looking for someone with a certificate, just someone who knows what they are doing. The receptioist usually say"Oh don't worry, all the girls can give a very good massage."
