Nope Mid 70's, all Massage parlors were located in Yonge St. from the Zanzibar Tavern to Gould. You could walk pass the shops and see the girls half-dressed ala Amsterdam. Yonge st. was shut down for traffic during the summer from Dundas to College and cafes took over the sidewalks, you could sit with a cup oof coffee and ogle all the sexy chicks sitting in the windows. All the sex worker were blonde and Blue eyed. Scandinavian and Germans mostly. You could go into the Sex shops and for a couple of bucks watch a 20 min sex show. mostly heavy breathing and innuendos. Hookers Stoot outside the shops waiting for clients and tempting the guys coming out of the strip-tease shops. I still remember their moniker "Go in and get tease, come out and get please"A massage was $5? Was this 1959?
