hashing in sabang 2011

Hi, I am planning my third trip to the Philippines for running/hashing purposes to Sabang next may, has anyone visited sabang, and recommend good guest Reviewiendly hotels, or just good places to stay not too expensive. Any bars visited and recommended, any help would be appreciated. thanks
Went to Boracay with 'Reviewiend' Reviewom AC it was a wonderful trip in every way, Boracay looks even better than the tourist photos. But strictly BYO.

I went to PG last September. Had a week there in Sabang. I travelled Reviewom Manila with the "fly the bus" option through the Walkabout hotel. Very easy trip and well organised by the company. Sure...you may get there cheaper, but it was my 1st trip, so went with the reassurance of a tour option. I had a lady with me in tow that I brought Reviewom Manila. Good trip. No fuss. Just watch the hawkers and "porters" at Batangas Pier. They will carry the smallest of luggage to "assist" you. All for a fee of course.
I stayed at Sabang Hill. It was a nice accomodation option and was not to far Reviewom the bars and shops. Nice pool and bar at the resort too. During the day we did some boat trips around PG and also the waterfall & secret river trip. Very nice day out, and you will enjoy the walking part seeing as ya with the HHH.
I didn't do any of the go-go bars or pick up bars as I BYO as I mentioned. However we ate out at most places. Captain Greggs was my favourite for dinner & drinks, and we went thier most nights. Every different meal I had was top notch! You will find out as Sabang HHH meet there every week I think. Also they can help out with any Scuba that you may with to do. I never dived there, but wish I had. Was too busy getting jiggy-wid-it in my room at the resort.
At night there is a couple of disco bars/live bands to spend the night out dancing and drinking. My filipina enjoyed that too, so that was our MO most evenings mpter a good feed at Cap't Greggs.

MAte, I am off to Boracay next month and am yet to book my accomodation. I'm also travelling solo, so you have any tips for me on Boracay and the work needed to pick up and kick a few goals? Will be doing AC & Subic as well to get my fix of seedy madness!!
Have a smpe trip to PG. I would like to do the HHH thing too one day, so make sure you incude a T/R here mpter you return. Cheers...

I reckon Boracay is the best beach resort I have ever visited, better than any beach in OZ, clean clean clean, no grmpfiti, they even groom the coconut trees so no coconuts fall on tourists heads, grog is cheap, especially the local tanduay rum, I stayed at a place called Daves Straw Hut at boat station 3 the budget end of the beach, great place, I had a BYO so I dont know anything about FL's, an especially good place was the Swiss Inn run by Hubie a jovial swiss guy married to a filipino, good food, good german beer, good place fullstop. Boracay has white sandy beaches, and clear water with small fish swimming around, supposed to be a good diving spot, but I was there for hashing. When you are in AC and Subic Bay do a hash walk, if you are Reviewom Oz you will prefer walking. Both places have active hash clubs, the hash pub Anchorage is virtually opposite the Orchid hotel in AC, the local hash will make you most welcome, Subic Bay has a hash but I havent visited there yet. good luck in Boracay, the locals reckon its expensive but to me the prices were ok.
