I'd rather make my own....9/10 service guys will make them weak as fcuk.
Usually a word in their ear sorts it out or they soon cotton on to your measurements once they've witnessed what u like.

Taking a bottle into a club,wan daeng etc etc ,is standard Thai procedure.
Im all for it especially if you've got a favourite tipple....i mean..FFS,hollywood disco patong for instance,dont serve JD WTF,unheard of....2k for a 100 pipers is a bit of a joke in my eyes,nevertheless we still paid it,would make me think twice next time.

we pay 17-18k for a bottle of grey goose in states at a club so anything in thailand is great deal
even though sometimes if you have some guys splitting the cost of bottle and u get a great table it is still worth it in states

we got a table at Skybar at Palsm casino in Las Vegas
900usd for 2 bottles of absolute, mixers free
and u have a great table, don't have to fight at the bar rot get a drink and we bypassed all lines at their other clubs

when u weigh it up,with the amount we drink,buying bottles is the way forward.

I agree anywhere else you'll be paying a damn site more to crack open a bottle....so i like the concept.

Grey goose is a far cry from 100 pipers quality wise(although different drinks),and well worth the mark up...but wouldnt agree on the 100 pipers,i'd expect a JW or a JD in LOS for that price.

Brought a bottle of JW into Tiger last week. It was a 1000 baht charge to bring in the bottle and 300 baht for ice and mixers (one bottle of coke, a liter I think). Ended up needing a second set of mixers so 1600 total to Tiger and 700 to 7-11 for the JW.

Yeah, my girl thought it was 800 including mixers so either I got hit with a farang tax or she got some bad info. I think the price works out pretty much the same as buying a bottle from the club. Also the people who were with me when I paid the corkage (outside) got in for free while anyone showing up later had to pay the 150 baht entrance, which did include 1 drink.

I brought a 1 liter bottle and with 7 people drinking there was still a wee bit left over. Of course it was an IFAWAS night so a few of the drinkers has already consumed bear, wine, and samsong before braving the stairs of Tiger disco to reach the JW. :

Last time I was in a GoGo bar in Patpong. With a Thai Girl. And we complained that the Long Island Iced Tea we had was too weak... they were very friendly and the Manageress in charge said she would make our next Long Island Iced Tea personally. One drink each later... we were hammered. Barely able to walk out the joint... just made it home, like I had drank 10 Long island Iced teas... not 2!

Think more than alcohol went into it...5555

+1, have a bottle of wine at the table. You used to be able (in Australia) to have a jug of beer before people buggered that one up as well. Now the only time I get served jugs is at private functions.

Hey, i came across this thread by accident, i am heading to patong soon... i was worried about the alcohol they serve in clubs, i ll probably go to either hollywood or seduction every night for like 12 days, i only drink jw black label or grey goose, so i was wondering about the price of 0.7 bottle of those inside and what about bringing your own bottle and buy mixers inside in such club and pay to the club and how much.... thanks for ur replies
