Not trying to bait you or even start a fight with you FC, but when you say only 2 girls know you, you're simply naive or lying. Like I said you tell one girl, they all know. You tell a spa owner all the girls know. Maybe it's misleading for newbies to expect the services you might get when the girl you're seeing knows you and knows full well you're going to write a review about her hours later. Does that make sense. That's why I take reviews from guy that are known at spas, and it's obvious the way they name drop owners names and personal stuff about girls, with a grain of salt. Given that scenerio some spas are also very massageplanet.net based where others couldn't care less, this is also another important factor. Sheesh I hardly think these girls think us guys and massageplanet.net are cool, so why brag about it, I'd think it's more for ulterior motives.

If a food critic call a restaraunt ahead of time and tells them they are going to be reviewed in an up and coming magazine, I highly doubt the Chef would over cook the Filet.

Sorry if I've offended you FC, just saying what's on my mind.

Learn to read I said there are only two mpas that I introduced myself as FC.

I did not say only 2 mpas know my handle.

Of course many more have since found out my handle.

Aside from Monica nobody has complained about my reviews so they are valid im my opinion.

You are absolutely CRAZY to give up your handle in any situation. You are handing the girl a blackmail weapon, and as someone who has changed his handle more than a few times after some MP's figured out who I was and started blackmailing me in not-so-subtle ways, I can speak from experience.

All it takes is you not returning because you're bored or have experienced lowered milage, and the girl could start violating your privacy in some way. This is not paranoia but fact. Not only that, the more posts you have, the more wary a girl is going to be giving you milage for lots of reasons. Think about it.

One example: I stopped going to one MP, and her river of cash also stopped. Another girl at a totally different spa started gabbing about me to the other chick (never knew they knew each other of course) and the first chick figured out who I was on massageplanet.net and not only told the other chick, but every other goddamned girl in their MP circle, and suddenly they know a lot about me that they started to use against me. Milage PLUMMETED. MP owner feared a bust, etc etc. Ugly. And that's just one incident.

Don't do it. Mao can tell you from harsh experience, and I'm a decent, considerate, and generous client, so there you go.

The MPAs are always asking me my handle. I don't give it out. Why let them know who else you see and what else you do. I used to live in Ottawa which has a small scene. Most of the MPAs know each other. They already try to guess who you are. Once I received some pmails from Jasmin(one of Ottawa's most highly rated). It was clear she thought i was one of her clients. At the time I had never seen her or any of her associates.

Interesting points. I think in some ways if you hobby a lot it doesn't matter if you are on massageplanet.net or not. You will get known if you don't change your name etc. If you frequent SRM they will get to know you whether you are online or not.

But in my experience services have pretty much been the same.

This is really an important point FC. MPA's discuss their really good sessions and their really bad sessions. I can pretty well GUARANTEE your name's come up if you frequent a spa regularly.

Add to that every MP has a camera facing the front door or desk, so you've been checked out very early on.

If you're a good client or an asshole the MPA probably knows.

There are a ton of little spas out there which are hardly ever discussed on massageplanet.net, so it would be naive of anybody to view the board as "omnipotent."

A couple of guys I've run into at Star and A & R barely knew what SOAP was let alone the internet.

Anyway, it's an interesting point of discussion but the bottom line is our handles are NOT the Da Vinci Code opening the door to some magical world.

Sometimes when you hear a girl sneer at massageplanet.net you almost think that it's not a good thing at all. That was my first introduction to the concept taht girls looked at massageplanet.net and don't like it.

I think some MPA's view massageplanet.net as a "necessary evil." If a girl for instance works at SRM and has positive reviews, she'll get appointments rather than simply walk ins.

IE> reviews jump start her client base.

What girls are afraid of is alot of personal information being discussed publicly.

Now Frank don't assume this is a personal attack , but you're posts and info you share contradict every word you say. All the B&S girls know who you are, the SRM girls know you, the Platinum girls know you, the Pickering Angels know you, the HFH and IT girls know you, Crystal B and Angelina know you. Now you'll say they just figured it out all by you're posts about them, but you could be secretive if you wanted to, you just choose not too. That's why I ignore 95% of you're posts. Of course a girl that knows you is going to give you stellar service, to those influenced by massageplanet.net it would only make sense to treat you good or better than the average guy. Especially when you're all over massageplanet.net and promoting the girls heavily that you see and who know who you are. The Monica thread was classic, you insisted she was awesome and the 20 guys with hundreds of posts were insane, well maybe they didn't name drop and got better service,veteran posters must all be lying and you're the only one that tells the truth. Oh and BTW when you tell an owner you're a massageplanet.net guy, they tell the girl you're about to see and so on and so on. I still haven't figured out why you would do it, I mean you come across as innocent but you speaking on behalf of the girls in you're posts and through pm's that guys share shows you have ulterior motives in to coughing up you're name. You know girls talk you're an idiot to assume and come on here and claim that no one knows you. I bet half a dozen guys on here know what you look like what you do for a living and what gifts you bring the ladies all because they talk about you just like they talk about me and the next guy and the next guy. The difference is they just don't know my massageplanet.net name.

At any given spa, what percentage of girls do you think are glad massageplanet.net is around? What percentage wish it wasn't? What percentage find it a humiliating invasion? What percentage of girls see it as possibly threatening (to whatever extent?)?

Calling it a "necessary evil" is kind of funny - because it's not necessary. Just because you (and I) value it doesn't make it necessary. Massage parlours predate the internet. Review boards aren't necessary.

They should be more afraid of what is being discussed privately about them via PM's, MSN, private boards, emails, etc.

They should also know that guys love to brag about their conquests at the parlours. In due time, a little ball licking has turned into 20 minutes of deep-throat action, just like that shitty sun-fish evolved into a half hour fight to land a 5 lb small-mouth.

Fortunately, as TQM suggests, the percentage of customers from the various boards is probably low compared to the over-all customer base, which allows them to earn a comfortable living on walk-ins and one-timers only.

Kracker makes an interesting point about the role of boards. As popular as massageplanet.net is (generally assumed to be the most popular), the massage industry is fortunate enough to have a board that controls the type of information that is permitted to be posted. If massageplanet.net is to be shut down, who's to say that the next leading board will be as "Information Responsible" as massageplanet.net is.

BTW, any young MPA's new to the biz that offer FS?

That said, would SRM have grown into an 8 room behemoth without the internet and massageplanet.net? In the old days Anita would have put an ad in the SUN, NOW etc etc but I wonder if that would have driven the growth?

I've called you out before...i'm calling you out in person the second time now so i can deal with this "issue" myself. In fact i'll buy you a ticket to Ohio this week to see my show. You could not only try and kick me in the head, but i also WANT YOU to meet some of the girls that you say you are "really good friends with" (which are my lucky charms). See i'm not as good looking as you and as lucky as you, have the charisma nor have the bling bling that you have either. I think review boards can influence how much a girl makes. Think about it girls like Jenn are booked solid thanks in part to massageplanet.net. But if you walked into HFH without knowing any better you'd probably gravitate towards girls like Amber. Some girls biz spike with positive stuff on massageplanet.net.

I think the ones that don't like it have been burned by unfair comments or someone giving out too much info.

Interesting observations. FC seems to be a true massageplanet.net celebrity. Hard to imagine any MPA not know who he is. As clients, sometimes you don't even have to ask, you'll get to hear about FC. Pretty good tactics to get good value for the dollar FC, if you enjoy the notoriety that is.
Interesting post, FOF. Agree. Just have to read FC's reviews/views on MPAs in a different light in the future.

I don't think SRM needed massageplanet.net - there have always been other avenues open to success - advertising being the obvious road.

Don't get me wrong - massageplanet.net has been moderately useful to me.

And as such, in spite of what some might think, in return I'm trying to make a contribution to the board - in spite of a no review policy on any active girl (which I've attempted to explain before).
