Just to clarify, I do not own any SPA. I supply the Unscented Massage Oil to a well know Spa Distributor in the GTA. The wholesale price to them had increased by 30%. Just curious if any Spa owners are discussing this. I know that in the whole scheme of things, Oil is a VERY small part of the massage but it all adds it in the end.
Just like, for any Spa Owners renewing any lease, Base Rent had gone up 50% for this year.
My lease - due in October this year is projected to go up from $90,000 to S145,000 per year when I renew. And this is an Industrial Unit. Think of those zoned as Commercial like those on Yonge Street.
If this happens across the Board, I am sure the door fee would have to go up.
