Massage table carts

Does anyone use any of these?  I was looking at them on massagewarehouse.com and they have 3 different ones.  I have an Earthlite Spirit table.  I had not done any outcalls before, except for a group of family members where I left my table at their home.  Now, they have referred me to several of their friends who want me to come to their house for weekly massages, but I do not want to carry my table without some sort of assistance.  The weight of the table doesn't bother me, but the way its shaped with the weight DOES.  I'm sure you all understand.  At the time,  I cannot justify buying a new table for outcalls only.  So, does anyone have any suggestions for me? or know which cart I works best?

I have 2 tables...one from Oakworks + table cart,  and the other is the Earthlite Spirit + table cart which rests in Trinidad when I go down to visit.I absolutely love my Oakworks table cart. It is strong and accomodates the full legnth of the table which easily fits right in the slot with good support. It folds up nicely too. No adjusting...just in...bam.. good to go. I have to say I was a bit dissappointed in the Earthlite table cart as it is not full legnth and half your table rests on the floor. Plus you have to strap it in each time pulling the belt around it to make sure it's a tight fit. It just wasn't as solid as the Oakworks cart it seemed...and was a little more shakier in my opinion. I dragged that thing all through the airport so I have some experience traveling with it. The nice thing about the Earthlite cart though was that it was more compact when folding up for storage. But I just did not care for half my table resting on the floor when I was not carting it around. And even though you can adjust the handle...it just gave one more thing to have to adjust and another point of weakness over time. The metal did not seem as strong as the Oakworks either.The Oakworks cart is one solid piece of molded of metal w/ solid thick canavs support on the bottom and sides, rubber hand grip and 4 good wheels.You can interchange your tables with the carts as they are all generally the same porportions.I vote for Oakworks table cart vs Earthlite.

Only problem is, it looks like this case only works with a 29" wide table, unless you can find something on the page that shows otherwise. Of course, now that I am thinking about it, I do belive a portable is usually in that range.

I have written a note to massage-empire asking for info on this company to see if they are considering making the larger size cases.

Oh, an FYI for anyone searching these carts.  I literally searched for about 4 hours trying to come up with more than this and couldn't find anything else.So, if anyone does, I'd certainly be thrilled if they'd add a post here, becaused "wheeled" anything for massage tables is a hard one to find.That includes carts/bags from other countries!  After all, we are getting more people from the UK on our site now!  Thanks in advance for any additions.

One of the students in my class went to an office supplies store and bought a luggage cart and it worked great for him. You will have to carry it the wide way but it is much more stable than on its corner. The cost was rather inexpensive too, only about 20-30 dollars if I recall correctly.

On the subject of the hand-truck table cart:

It is called The Traveler, by Bodys Kneaded, the makers of the Prego Pillow.  I have two of these with the Saddlebags and an Oakworks cart, and I use the Oakworks cart most of the time.

If I had a truck instead of a car, I would use the Traveler carts exclusively.  They don't break down very compactly, and they leave tread marks on my leather seats, but oh, boy.... what a difference!  It saves a lot of wear and tear on your body, and is easily maneuverable; you can pull it along with one finger!

Only problem I had was getting a cart that wasn't damaged or crooked.  If I'm paying top dollar for a cart, I want all four wheels to touch the ground at the same time, and no dents!  After sending several back and forth with the company, I finally got two that were not wobbly or damaged.  

I like the Saddlebags, but for hotel outcalls, I find I really don't need to carry that much stuff with me.

This is a convenient, compact luggage cart, but a little tricky in closing it down. It does get frustrating trying to fold it up when everything you do doesn't work.

Here's how to do it:
1. Fold the feet up into the legs by pressing the silver button down by the hinge of each foot.
2. Press the button on the handle to collapse it down, but do not push it all the way down. If you do collapse it all the way down, the button will pop up. Push the button down and the handle will pop up a little.
3. With the name and logo facing you, pull the handle towards you so that it pops out of the frame and comes toward you. (The cart is locked in position if the handle was pushed all the way down, so the top button must be pressed to loosen the handle).
4. The wheels will fold inward and the handle will pivot down between the legs.
5. With the feet in the frame, they will tuck in under the shell at the top and fit in the notches of the handle on the bottom.
6. Push the handle down to lock the carrier in the closed position and stretch the bungee cords around the cart.

TA DA!

Santa kindly brought me a Carry This table cart, available from Massage Warehouse and Midas Massage, along with a few other places. BIG ole wheels and uber-adjustable. The big wheels mean that the cart is a bit bigger and lunkier than normal carts when trying to stuff everything into my Tercel, but I'm able to roll smoothly up & down even tall stairs! Wee!

I got the NRG massage cart. It is lightweight and easy to use, but the part on the back that keeps it from tipping over also keeps it from going up stairs.
