Need suggestions ASAP!!! Where's a good MP to work at?

Hi fellow massageplanet.netites!!! This is what happened to me yesterday when I got into work.

Me: Hi (boss' name)!!
Boss: Hi (my name). I have some bad news for you. You
have to look for another job next month.
Me: (looks at the clock) I'm getting fired for being a half
hour late? I'm always late. You know that.
Boss: No, it's not that. We lost our court case and our
licence is being revoked.
Me: But we can still operate without a licence right?
Boss: No, I don't want to end up in jail 'cuz you know
those f*ckers (that's what he calls the LE people)
are going to be here the next day if we operate
without a licence.
Me: What about all that talk about me not having to worry
'cuz we'll be open for the next 5 billion years? And my
great-great-great grandkids will be working for your
great-great-great grandkids??
Boss: Sorry, we're gonna be closing.

Like... Oh my God. I'm so pissed right now. First my boss promised me that we'll be open for the next zillion years and not to worry and now, it hasn't even been six months since he took over the place and he's talking about closing!!! WTF am I going to do? It's so hard to find a good place out there. Anyways, I was totally devastated when I heard the news. Totally shocked!! Couldn't eat, sleep, or watch T.V. for like... 2 hours straight. Like.... Oh my God... Can't believe this is happening!! And I couldn't believe my stupid psychics were right. They both predicted a job change in the fall for me but I didn't believe them so I totally didn't see this coming at all!!! Where in the world am I going to find another boss who's going to put up with all my sh*t?? I'm messy, (not dirty, just messy, I always throw my sh*t everywhere) I come in late half the time, don't show up the other half. (And when I do show up, I usually make up an excuse to leave early.) Not the most reliable worker I know but I am good when I DO show up. So anyways. I need your help in finding a good place to work. I've gone through over 20 places before I found the 2 that I'm at right now so I'm pretty picky about where I work. Anyways, these are the criterias I'm looking for:

1. A licenced holistic spa either in Scarborough or Toronto.
I have my holistic licence right now and can't afford to
pay for a body rub licence because the year is almost
over anyway and the body-rub licence would only be
valid for 2 months. Then I have to get another one
for next year which wouldn't make sense.
2. No LE frequenting the place. Can't afford a lawyer for
any bawdy house charges right now. So far, I've been
lucky this year. I don't think I got any tickets. Or
maybe just one or something early this year. But I
think it was late last year, not early this year. (Plus I
think part of the reason I got lucky this year was
because I only worked 2 days in January, 2 days in
April, and 2 days in June. The rest of the months I was
working pretty consistently.)
3. No BJ or FS going on at the MP. I don't offer any of that
stuff EVER, so the clients are not going to stay if me if
other girls are offering that kind of stuff at the spa.
4. No sleezy boss please!!! I always have sleezy bosses
hitting on me which is part of the reason why I went
through more than 20 MPs.
5. Place must be clean.

So if anyone can suggest some good places for me to check out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

As far as what MP to work at, I'd say any outside of York Region. You could always try going indy.It seems to be working for a few others.

Let me get this straight. You have no money for a license ( I know, 2 months). You don't like showing up for work. When you do show up you are usually late and want to leave early. You are messy, and you have worked at 20 other spas. I can't believe that SRM or Allure aren't banging on your door right now. Go figure.

Try Pickering Angels

The owner is Female, its one of the nicest spa's in the GTA. From what I hear from the girls, they rarely have police visiting them.

Why would you recommend her to Pickering Angels. She has admitted to always being late and usually finding an excuse for leaving early. She admits to being messy. Would you want to book her and then go to Pickering Angels and find that your session was canceled because Leah was late getting there or left early or maybe even never showed up.....WTF!!!

Sorry, its the boss and the hobbiest coming out in me. Leah is probably an incredible looker. I hate it when women use their beauty and become unprofessional. It pisses the other ladies off that always arrive on time (or are early) and take pride on how their workplace is kept. Treat the customers with dignity and respect their time commitments.

Her boss allowed her to do it, that is a managers problem if you ask me. I made a suggestion to her, I am sure the management at other well-established places know how to deal with someone like Leah. If a woman asks where is a safe place to work I make a suggestion, I am not hiring her. It would be up to Leah to prove herself as a loyal and punctual employee at her new place.

Well if you think you are going to find a Parlour that hasn't got one bad apple working there, you are wrong. LE visits ALL spas in the GTO at least twice a year.

Body Rub licences like Holistic are renewed yearly upon the date you receive your licence. The only way you won't get a licence in Toronto is if you have any outstanding charges or have had previous convictions over the last 10 years. It is part of the City Of Toronto Licensing By-Laws.

As for constantly being late, you need to find a way to fix that problem.

Also a lesser known MP might be the way to go if you can build clientelle quickly.

Well one reason is that at PA an MPA can pay the receptionist to clean up her room at the and of the shift, so not a problem if she's messy.

But no room for consistently tardy attendance so this may not be a good fit. It does sound like PA is very well managed though, and the owner is well thought of by the MPA's. Some other MPA's looking for a new home might want to consider Pickering.

Hi Card Inhale Wang. Thanks for standing up for me. Actually, you're right. The reason why I'm always late is because management allow me to be. I used to always be on time for this one place because the boss was really strict. She made me pay $30 for every half hour I'm late plus if I don't show up for my shift, I have to pay her $300 before she'd put me on schedule again. One time, I didn't show up for work for a few days, and I didn't have money to pay her for the shifts I missed so she started charging me $150 per shift instead. Since she knew I was messy, she charged me $20 if I forget to fill up the oil bottle or the alcohol bottle or the shampoo or the soap, $20 if I forget to put a chocolate on the bed, $20 if I forget to clean the shower or mop the floor or vaccuum the carpet... One time, I woke up late so I didn't have time to change so I ran into work in my "Pooh Bear" pyjama pants. And it was so funny 'cuz this other girl ran in LITERALLY 2 seconds after I got in and she was wearing her Mickey Mouse pyjama pants, plus slippers, plus rollers in her hair. We started laughing at each other until the boss popped out from nowhere and we both got in sh*t. She said that if we EVER get into work looking like that again, it's a $50 fine. She had about 500 rules posted on the bulletin board and believe me, NOBODY dared to step out of line with her!! Even her husband was TERRIFIED of her. We always joked that if the cops ever parked outside of our spa, they'd for sure catch all 5 of us speeding in to work everyday!!

So anyways, it just goes to show, it all depends on management. I'm pretty clumsy so I always get fined for something or other while I was working there. But she put up with me anyways because by the end of my shift, she made an extra 40, 60, sometimes 80 bucks from me so she didn't mind.

The thing with me is, all my bosses know I have about an 8 month expiry date or something. Like seriously.... it should be stamped on my forehead or something. I usually behave PERFECTLY the first 8 months when I first find a place I like. After that point, I don't know if it's because I'm bored or if I just get too comfortable or something, I start to majorly slack off. But as long as I am at work, I'm a good worker. I give an excellent massage, I always give clients their full time, plus I make sure they have a good time. I get 4-5 requests per shift plus 1-2 picks. I'm not gorgeous or anything; cute is often the word people use to describe me (massageplanet.netites included). My mileage is not considered high by most massageplanet.netites because I read that on some of my reviews. (Yes, I do read my reviews!!) So NO.... I am probably not the best worker in the world. Or the most reliable person. I mean... who the heck gets fired from a scooping ice-cream job??!!! My friends all laughed at me when I got fired from there. I was so pissed.

BTW, most of the places that were mention are body-rub licenced, not holistic. Any suggestions for a holistic MP for me to work at until the end of this year?? My licence expires early next year so I'm thinking of maybe changing to a body-rub then. What's Star studio like?? Boss good? no good?

It would be the best place in the Scarborough area. He tolerates it if you are late. From what I hear about Star from the girls is there is more money to be made elsewhere. Star always has new girls starting, but they never stay that long. So that might tell you something.

And Svend... You're right, I am fun to work with... MOST of the time. I make all the girls laugh. And why not?? There's nothing else to do at a MP when you're not working except to eat, sleep and watch T.V. Sometimes, I'm no fun to work with though, and that's when I'm in my sleepy mood. Then I just go into one of the rooms to hide and sleep and I give my turns away. And God help the person who wakes me up... I get REALLY cranky, then I'm REALLY no fun to be with. (oh, and if my boss caught me sleeping at the strict place I was talking about... $30. I swear, I think she must've made $1000 from me just by catching me sleeping)

There aren't many places in Scarborough that are nice. The only ones that I can think of that are upscale are; Star, Ginger, and Venus.
