The fact of the matter is we cant all get what we want. Many people commute great distances to work. Hamilton's housing market is seeing a boost for awhile now because people cant afford to live in Toronto. London and the KW area are booming as well. Toronto will not be an option for many going forward.

It's a necessary evil. We're all doing this for different reasons. My main goal, more than containing the virus, is to get my life back on track. Thankfully, being healthy goes hand in hand with our mental and financial well-being. If we selfishly prolong this, we will lose our economy. When that happens, what were we doing these quarantines and shutdowns for? It's now or never.

well like regular people. They have to eat and bills to pay. Just because some of us disagree with their profession, that doesn't mean we should criticize them for working. Are we going to call out the workers working at supermarkets or on the front line dealing with customers too? They too can spread the virus relatively quickly and easily since they deal with numerous people everyday.

I am not criticizing their profession nor the work they do; I am simply saying they are potentially exposing themselves and others to the virus. The front line workers are deemed essential. I did not say it, government did.

Hate to bring you the bad news but as much as I wanna kill myself too, this is a long journey. The first wave of the virus in Canada has barely started and that will be 3-4 months. Realistically nothing will be back to normal until 18 months later when a vaccine is discovered and available for mass distribution.

I always try to keep an optimistic outlook. I ignore the media's fear-mongering and the fanatics' grim forecasts. The only reason I'm doing my part is because of the hope that there will be some kind of payoff for it. Only time will tell and I'd like to believe it will get better. If this shutdown will last for as long as it takes to develop a vaccine which is next year and our economy is damaged beyond repair, I'll stop self-isolating and start living it up until it kills me. If by then the economy hasn't reopened, I'll know that it's no longer worth making these sacrifices. I'm not in this for the long haul. This isn't something that I embrace nor would like to get used to. It's a temporary incovenience. The more permanent it becomes, the more I'll start to indulge myself with the hedonistic lifestlye I've been trying to avoid this past month.

Even the people still earning full income and able to afford those rates are all working from home. Most have families so outcall to home not gonna work. Hotel? Plus the $400! That’s closer to $600 and how guy gonna get out of the house to meet up. And let’s not forget the most important thing- not catching or spreading this virus. Even if wanted to see these girls after things are back to normal I wouldn’t. I am watching who of my regulars is advertising during these times and making a note not to see them again. If they are not taking health and safety seriously now when it is essentially mandated by the government and certainly by social pressure, it makes me question the risks they take with their/our health in good times.

I have never met a girl in this business who worked (not talking about the owners) who ever had money. $3000 LV purses, expensive shoes, fancy restaurants, trips down south and party party party. Most of them rent not own. Their Mercedes and Beemers are either owned but are 10 years old or newer and leased. And I am still amazed at how many don’t have a car at all. Either they don’t make as much as we think or they squander it.

I used to have a regular who was pulling in $1000 or more a week in cash, lived in subsidized housing with her family so didn’t even pay rent, was not in school, and was always asking me for money because She never had any for her car payments or to buy gas to fill her car.

They all say saving to go back to school, buy a house etc, and I am sure some of them do but I have not met her yet.
