Having struck out yesterday on an attempted visit to Mei's in Burlington, today I visited "Oak Hot Stone Wellness" on Speers rd. in Oakville because someone on this message board said it was a nice place.
That recommendation was accurate, indeed it's a nice little massage shop, if not a little boring.
I opted for 60 mins with "Cindy", who put a good amount of effort in to delivering what was a decent full body massage. "Cindy" followed my requests in terms of working on specific places with tension, and so forth. It's always nice when they pay attention to requests instead of just going through their standard routine.
Cindy was a friendly, presentable lady. Would guess 160cm tall, ~58kg.
While I was there, someone else who Cindy said was the "boss" passed by the door numerous times and talked through the wall in rapid-fire Chinese. Lots of front door activity could be heard, the door opening/closing while I was there, none of which really mattered, I suppose.
Felt like the boss runs a pretty tight ship. Spoken instructions could be heard echoing around in the distance throughout the session, I guess between the boss and other girls.
On to what does matter, these seem like fairly nice people who are running a honest massage shop. Cindy and her "boss" (Yuri? Yuki? Couldn't understand) are probably both age ~45, the boss might have been 40, they're presentable ladies, I can't really criticise, but, NMCOT.
I believe some kind of extras were available but, all things considered, was not inspired to partake.
There is a tiny portable shower thing in the corner of the room that I used afterwards. If you were at all overweight I don't think you could fit in there, lol.
I was in need of a good massage this week due to lower back pain and that was resolved by the friendly Cindy at Oak Hot Stone Massage.
So, if you're interested in knowing where to find a clean, standard fare massage shop, now you know.
Massage 6/10
Appearance 6/10
Personality 7/10
Cleanliness 9/10
Damage $60 for massage fee
$60 tip for nothing because I didn't want to leave her with no tip, lol.
