In previous years of posting I have always suggested to people, especially younger fellas to be very careful with what they spend on any hobbies. Not just massages but on any spending that doesn’t produce any returns. Best to invest that capital in early years on assets that produce capital gains, so that by mid life people have far more capital and cash flow and flexibility in what they spend money on.

It's a fine balance of enjoying life a bit more, but also being responsible so people don't as one youtuber put it "end up dying on the Walmart floor". Being young, some people just want to enjoy life NOW, in the moment, before they can't when they are older: for some things they aren't necessarily wrong in thinking that. But it can also be dangerous thinking that way because it sets them back in the long term where they might struggle during the years where they should probably have a healthy nest egg: I've seen a friend's engagement get nuked because the fiancé financially ruined herself living a lifestyle she couldn't maintain and didn't tell him until it was too late.

The least a person should do is a soft budget and stick to it so that they aren't surprised by the consequences of their actions: this is especially for hobbies they find themselves more impulsive towards.

When it comes to investing capital early, young people should at least be using the TFSA and the new FHSA since it's entirely tax free.

Also, not sure if anyone's really had this observation, but it seems like people have regressed from short + long term thinking to just short term thinking since the long term stuff is more of a luxury.

I forgot one important person who does know of my bad habits, my extremely good family doctor. He gives me the scripts for the blues and yellows. He listens to my stories, he is older and very patient with me. He tests me each time I do something stupid, yes, condoms do break and occasionally little brain does things big brain regrets later; I think he had said "again?" to me 5 times in my life; may be more. I am luckly that I am still clean. I am going to panic the day he retires.

Lol I started because I wanted to try it out before the medication stopped working. ED is one hell of a bitch for a young person. Having scratched that itch, I'm not really craving it as much as I thought I would now.

I know of folks who consider cocaine as their recreational drug of choice, I prefer my blues and yellows. Don't really need them but occasionally they allow me to have a much more intense schedule during trips or long weekends. On my trip to Cabo, I think I got a "massage" every night.

I know of one guy who uses blue to counter the effect of alcohol; that I wouldn't do; he would go out and drink until he is shitface drunk, take a blue and try to make things work. I wouldn't put my body through that type of abuse.
