I was really talking about the original Raging Bull, now known as Rock Hard, and I'm talking about more than 20 years ago. I do vaguely remember the mechanical bull they had in Soi Eric. Gollum was right there - it didn't last much more than a month. That too was quite a while ago.

Was one of the first tv programmes on Ch4 here in Uk. But I was a little to YOUNG to remember much else.

Monkey was escorting Buddha.. Its actually a Chinese Buddhist fable called Journey West with there being subtle Buddhist themes and teachings.. But as a kid yeah, it was the flying cloud, and fighting sticks..

Gloriously over acted by Monkey and the rest of the cast.. Pigsey always going around looking for 'young girls' and tramps..

Monkey was indestructible and brash monkey king.. He had eaten the peaches of immortality IIRC and so couldn't be killed.. But could be controlled by the band around his head hurting him..

Just remember the beginning.. 'From the sands of time.. Came MONK-EY" as he bursts out of this egg.. Making me smile thinking of it..
