I am all for expressing bad reviews and opinions and making this review board just that.
However one cannot dismiss anothers opinion and experience. Everyone has different experiences.
Yours was bad, others may have had bad. Others had good, including me.
As long as one is truthful and sincere they should be heard. bad reviews done out of animosity and by ulturistic motives should not be heard nor go unopposed.

TheMechanic has issues that clearly go beyond the facts of his particular experience. How do I know that he's a deeply troubled individual? Take a look at the phrases cut and pasted from his posts in this thread. Does this sound like someone who had a single unpleasant experience? A solitary customer service disappointment? Not a chance. The sheer volume and repetitiveness suggests he's been chronically abused by his tormentor Rayne. You'd never know the whole incident was a one-time occurrence lasting just a few minutes.

He should have made his point privately. Having made it publicly, he should have taken Muse's reply as sufficient. Having continued to endlessly heap scorn on Rayne, IMO his own character and mental stability are fair game for discussion. The excerpts from his posts tell us way more about him than his target. It doesn't take an FBI profiler to conclude The Mechanic sees himself as so important and powerful that the slightest misstep by someone subordinate to him warrants their termination.

Ladies, be careful with this guy.

I met Rayne once. She was an absolute doll and actually sold me on becoming a more frequent visitor.

I'm sure the MUSE management will take the constructive points of the post and have a conversation with Rayne. That's basically what you should expect and I'm surprised this thread hasn't died yet.

When this thread started, I was fairly neutral on this issue or maybe even a bit on the side of the Rayne/Muse defenders.
However the more this thread drags on, the more I am starting to side with TheMechanic.

At the end of the day, I think the ultimate losers of this drawn out battle will be Rayne and Muse.
The very thing that the defenders of Rayne/Muse is trying to prevent.

We should just let this thread die.

The fact that you care so much and have gone through great pains to try defend Rayne's actions when she's clearly in the wrong goes to show that you're either Rayne pretending to be some guy named Dalton, or you've been bribed with free door fees by the Muse owners.

Your post was very pathetic, I had a good laugh at that one. Anyone who's read this thread who's not a white knight, a fanboy, a guy who's been bribed with free door fees, or someone who works at Muse who pretends to be a patron, knows that Rayne's behaviour is inexcusable and indefensible, not to mention unprofessional and unclassy.

It would be hilarious if you were one of the many guys that Rayne described as old, fat, balding, ugly, smelly, or disgusting. Without a doubt, there's been many in this thread who've defended her not knowing the unflattering things she says behind their back, I find that quite comical.

I pay my receptionist well enough, and she deserves it, she doesn't bash customers. Doing so is enough to warrant termination with cause. It's a good thing you don't own a business...it would likely fail given your lack of concern for customer satisfaction.

Btw, I doubt you'll score a free door fee from Muse for trying to be Rayne's white knight, they already know that Rayne talks smack about customers within hearing distance of other customers so obviously there's an issue there.

Agreed. Now its got to the point where you can't say anything about anything other than the MPA - receptionist or other employees. When you go to a place the people who work there make up the entire experience and therefore are fair game.

As you read thru the chain more and more 'facts' come up. Interesting how that happens!

If you leave the waiting room at the ER because of backlog or immediate triage for a smoke, it's quite possible if not probable that you'll lose your spot. If you leave the line in the grocery store because you forgot there was a sale on something and return to see you have lost your spot, oh well. When you're in a room full or horny men that are there for a free doorfee and to meet as many ladies as possible and you leave regardless of what is said, that's your fault. Mechanic should have stayed put and if an opening was available he could have spoken up then.

Mechanic isn't willing to accept responsibility for not having the common sense to stay put, and chat with other ladies while waiting his turn. What happens, he rants to deflect his own lack of common sense in the situation. Obvious that he and some others don't have common sense to realize that backlogs will occur at such events. I guess some of you have never waited in at a beer garden, ribfest, amusement park, concert or in traffic. Same shit different pile.

It doesn't take a business expert to understand this. FTR, I wasn't there because I knew it would be a busy day/evening for the muse staff and clients, so why bother going when everything is a rush job.

I believe the blame falls MPAsquarely on MuseManagement. In a thread prior to this fiasco filled event, a question was posed:

Now that many problems have been brought to light, Muse Management says this:




If Muse Management had been honest before this event happened, and warned potential visitors that because of the freebies there would be a swarm of mutants

invading their spa, as well as a "new flow" being used for the first time, which in turn could mean that there would be a good chance if you just walked in ( or had an appointment for that matter) you would not be getting a session, complaints/ incidents like this could have been avoided as potential customers would have been prepared for the chaos instead of being assured everything would be fine.

As for the customer bashing, I know that happens everywhere in every business. However the management of this establishment seems to foster a culture of this type of behavior, their defense for their receptionist was basically yes our receptionist trashed our customers, but hey a lot of our customers are disgusting and deserve to be trashed.

It seems you like beating a dead horse so i'll beat this dead horse myself. Rayne is part / represents Muse. She works as the 1st impression and the last impression of your experience at the spa. I don't understand why someone can't say something about the receptionist. I guess we can't say something about how clean the facilities? How management ran the place? C'mon...

The fact that TheMechanics seems to think the only way to achieve customer loyalty when something goes wrong is to bribe the client makes me wonder how he operates his business. Have you ever considered that these "Fanboys" or "White Knights" are in fact people with some intelligence and can gather their data and develop their own opinion?

This is my last post in this thread, but I am almost certain TheMechanic will continue to post in this thread as he MUST have the last word in. BTW, you claim that your pockets are deep enough to be able to pay for things without hand-outs, but your you must have done your research to know that this event was an Anniversary party where the door fee was being waived. Knowing that such a promotion would draw a larger crowd than normal, why would you consider picking that day of all days to go and see a Muse for the first time? That's like the person who decides to go to Honest Ed's when they give out the free turkey and ham and bitch that they missed out on the freebie!!

If you chose to no longer patron the Muse, I am sure you won't be missed and I pity the establishment that you choose to patron.

What a read! That was somewhat entertaining. I think people are getting sidetracked due to ego conflicts and power struggles at this point.

I don't believe it was professional in the way the situation with the appt was handled and the OP probably felt like they were adding insult to injury with the added customer comments at the back, (we know it's done, we just don't wanna hear it) however, it's not the end of the world and the great thing about competitive market is that the OP can take his business elsewhere. I'm sure the receptionist did the best job she could given the circumstances and would have conducted herself differently if the place wasn't so hectic and busy.
