The only date I've seen proposed is June 19th - where are you seeing the 15th?

I had heard it directly from a couple of the spa owners. They posted about it on another forum, and confirmed via DM.

Wait until next week when the cases contracted at all of the protests start to show up. Over 15,000 gathered in Edmonton alone, shoulder to shoulder. Any of them who may have been exposed would be in the incubation period right now.

Yup. Flu statists will increase. Media will embellish test results to make story. Health agencies will present doom and gloom with no categorization of the cases. Politicians will do what they need to to retain votes.

Yes, the government just announced Phase 2 this Friday June 12. Now we can all go get massages lol. I wonder if the girls will be swamped for the next while.

After almost five months I went for a haircut on Friday. It was almost a religious experience.. That's about all the excitement this old heart can handle for awhile. I'm going to wait for couple weeks and watch how we handle reopening. The experts keep saying to watch for the second wave. I don't think we have finished the first wave yet.

Sooner or later our human bodies will have to accept this Coivid 19 and 99% of us will develop a antibody and life goes on. We can’t hide in our caves forever

That's true, but the point was to slow the spread to allow for health care facilities to not become overwhelmed. It also buys us time to learn how to treat it more effectively (which we have, though there's no truly effective therapy) and eventually a vaccine if possible. It can also allow the virus to die in asymptomatic people and that reduces the total number of cases. There is also considerable evidence that the amount of the virus you're exposed to matters greatly - that's why young and healthy health care workers have suffered an extremely disproportionate number of fatalities for their age cohort. I'm happy we took an aggressive approach - we probably saved a lot of lives in the long run.
