ripped off at ac

hey everyone! just got back from alphacare! anyways had an appointment with tanya for one hour or so i thought! went to get some gas and some money at the esso gas station beforehand. took out 220, 20 for gas and the other 200 for my time. i gave the attendant 80 dollars, tells me get in the shower and she will be with me in a few. not even a minute later i hear a knock and its the guy telling me i shortchanged him 20 dollars. he says do u want an hour i said nope. anyways the time i had with tanya was great as has been the past 4 times. however it was also my last time because i will no longer visit this establishment. had nothign but positive thigns to say about ac before but now this guy just ruined my time. i know its only 20 dollars but it is the principal. i verified everything with my online banking before i posted this

Even if a mistake has been made, it was after the transcation. You don't come back to a customer and demand another $20 and just assume it was the customer's mistake.

Of course, it only makes them look like small time crooks, which is probably the case here. Shake down your customer, get a thousand hits in massageplanet.net confirming your a crook!

Alpha Care has the responsibility of checking the money right when they receive it. Would you expect to buy something in a store and have the cashier come running out to your car telling you he was short changed.
IMHO Alphacare always operates right on the edge. When I go there I am very careful in my dealings with reception as I think they will scam you everyway possible. I have no problems with the girls I have seen, in fact they are the only reason I go back.

Theyve hired some guys that look and smell like street punks or the highschool drop outs to man the doors. One guy looks like he is going to mug you if he meets you in a alley way. If I were running AC those guys wouldnt be working pushing mops.

The only guy that is easy to deal with is that slim guy who I think is Itailian, with the goatee. The others should be working at Mcdonalds!

Next time count the cash infront of him. That way you have an out if the idiot decides to come back again.

Agreed. His name is Alex but goes by Dirk to some. He has been at AC for years and usually gives good recommendations of which new MPA to see.

I have been there many times and I like the place. I also do not believe that someone is really looking to scam you for $20. Maybe you did make a simple mistake yourself-any chance at all ?

that is your opinion and thats fine but when my online bank statement says i took out 220 and my gas bill says 20.00 and then i count 120.00 in my wallet! 40 dollars after services i know i am right! maybe you work for them? don't believe you do but maybe you do?

I had a similar experience there with the asia lady at reception. She busted in the room after i paid the door fee and said i underpaid her. Had a bad taste for this place ever since.

Nah, I do not work for them but I have pretty much figured out how much money is flying around there . Who takes out $220 from a machine anyway ? Secondly why bother explaining that part first ? Sounds fishy but whatever.

If you felt ripped off the best thing to do is to take your business and cash elsewhere. There are lots of great girls and MP's out there.

It is too bad some great girls such as Sara, Jenna etc continue to work at Alpha.

I had to laugh at this. They could stack every one of those punks that works nights there (except the goatee guy) in an alley and I wouldn't be afraid to walk through there counting cash. The goatee guy is the nicest guy there but something tells me he could open up a can of whoop ass if he needed to. Most of rest of them are too dumb to even figure out how to mug somebody.

thats besides the point. even if it was the thread starter's mistake, what a way to kill the mood. he probably didn't enjoy the massage as well as he could since he had a sour taste in his mouth from what happened 10 min ago.

the owner got the $20 this time, but missed out on the $100s of dollars from the next times since he probably wont be going back

If the guy thought you ripped him off he has the right to ask for the remaining money - obviously he should of counted the money as soon as dmbfan paid. Just remember that at one time or another we have all had 20 dollar bills that seem to stick together after an ATM withdrawl - it is very easy to hand over an extra 20 somewhere along the way, (most likely right after the withdrawl- in this case at the gas startion) or for a cashier to miss count a 20.

I have a hard time finding out what the real problem is here. After the initial discomfort from the guy asking for another 20 - it sounds like you had a great session with Tanya. Dmbfan stood-up for himself and didn't pay more - and had a good time! I wouldn't let this guy deprive yourself from having good sessions in the future. I've never been to AC but if the door person at my favourite MP, asked for an extra 20 from me - and I didn't end up paying it - I wouldn't deprive myself from future visits.
