Royal Thai Massage - Shirley

There is a "CLOSED" sign on Royal Thai Massage's storefront at 1333 Homer near Drake, but on closer inspection you will also see a handwritten sign on the door advising that they are now using an apartment on Helmecken between Richards and Homer (about 2 blocks uphill.) The sign gives the buzzer code and the phone number to call for an appointment: 604-669-0828, but not the suite number.

I called recently and was quoted $60 for a one-hour Thai massage, so I went in and met Shirley, who told me the suite number and buzzed me in.

Shirley is a 22-year young Thai girl with quite a pretty face, although she is a bit too roly-poly for someone who prefers waif and spinner types. She's also quite short, perhaps 5'4".

After leaving my shoes at the door I was led back through a pleasant apartment to a back bedroom with an ensuite bath, where I had a shower. When I returned, Shirley was wearing a rather ordinary top over a sturdy bra, and plain slacks.

She asked me if I wanted oil, and the oil she used was not scented. The massage was done on an ordinary queen size bed with QMFM playing on the radio in the background.

If you're not familiar with Thai massage, the technique she uses includes some unique arm and leg stretches as well as spine crunches, not unlike a chiropractic treatment. Shirley does not do true Royal Thai massage, as some of her applications are done using her feet, instead of strictly hands which is the rule with genuine Royal Thai massage.

The massage did not include teasing or anything else to stimulate my interest in extras, but when the massage was over, Shirley asked if I wanted anything else. I suggested an HJ and offered an extra two greens. She said that was one purple short of the going rate, but after a bit of negotiation, we settled on an extra two greens and a blue (105 total). Topless was on the menu, but that would have been even more, and as I said, Shirley wasn't really my type.

The HJ was, like the massage, OK, but I probably will not repeat.

I got a much better massage & HJ from Amanda (Lougheed Mall area) for 5 greens, and Melody (Joyce Station area) gives a massage I liked a bit better and a comparable (so-so) HJ for only four greens.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a budget-priced massage with a happy ending in the downtown/Yaletown area, this one is OK, but you'll get better service for a better price if you venture further out into the burbs.

Oh, and since Shirley was by herself (during the day) she also answered the phone a couple of times during the session. From hearing her side of the conversations I learned that she offers more services that go for at least eight greens, and that there is another girl who will be available in the evening.

Good review Oldfart. I have seen Shirley once in the past and I agree she is a bit too roly poly and charges a bit too much. I was feeling horny and after the massage I paid too much (forget how much but I knew at the time it was too much- damn little head cares nothing for value when he's up and raring to go). One thing I do remember is that Shirley had a very tiny toe and I thought at the time it would be nice to be inside something that looks that tight. However given the overpricing I did not venture to ask the price of entry into that tiny piece of real estate. I still remember how sweet and tiny it looked. Damn little head - get down - no you can't blow the budget on it!

Jack, I had read the reviews about Nirra, and to me they seemed more positive than the L/A/S of the girl who called herself Shirley. The assumption I made was that Nirra was the girl who was going to be available later on in the evening, although this was strictly speculation on my part.

No, unfortunately, neither Amanda nor Melody could be mistaken for a spinner. If you do searches within the Vancouver Massage category for Amanda and Melody you'll see details. In a nutshell, though, Amanda is a Reubenesque strawberry blonde and Melody is an average size Asian brunette. If you do a general search for "waiflover" you'll be able to read posts from another eforum.xxxert who enjoys "Twiggy-esque" ladies.
