Shipwreck bar update.

It was the first time I had been down Bangla for months.A friend is in town and we did the rounds.After the MTB we went to go to the Shipwreck and it was bunged out and could not get a seat.We went back a few hours later and got sorted.I discovered why it is so popular.h:

John has installed six down draught air con units along the front and each side wall has a big air con unit so it was pleasantly cool.All the bar furniture has been changed and the the new stools are comfortable and wide (Denver sized).:info:

Yes certainly, any of those bars near (and including) shipwreck offer a great vaneforum.xxxe point for viewing passers by, and as mentioned, the ladyboys in and around Soi Croc. Top spot!

You're right, I would imagine that if I were the type of person who started drinking at 10 in the morning, missing out on seeing the ladyboys of Soi Croc would be the least of my worries 555

Wandered in there last week, always favoured P1 up to now for reasons similar to highlighted above. A very pleasant experience, no pressure for drinks and excellent people watching spot

Whoops! need glasses as mis-read the OP..... 'Installed six down draught' - I went all wistful at this point thinking 'Draught beer / beer on tap' then I thought how would 'Pen' one of the dayshift ladies (lovely girl) manage to keep her mind on the job of filling a pint pot as this can take all of 15 - 20 seconds :sarcastic: . This thought made me reread the post and realise my mistake. No worries Pen I'll apologise in person come June. :wai:

I was there a couple weeks ago, the first time back in almost a year, I like the new stools, but I miss the old bar, and I miss the old night time staff, Tee and Da were my favorites!!
