That's interesting, hasn't happened to me yet. If they need to increase their fees to make up for PPE costs, you would think it is reflected in the door fees and not the tips...since it's the owner that's paying for it.

Yes. It has been pulling back and will do so before hitting new highs. My prediction. Barnick in US. Newmont in Canada are good mining stocks to buy.

Correct. Instead of me trying to track down preferred funds and such. My Primer guy works the algorithms and selects certain combos to maximize rates of return. Back in May dropped about 30k to take advantage of the dip in the market. Was a tad late but.....Still ok, long games on this one.

This place is indeed open but don't expect eye candy or high mileage here. The boss lady (Yuki) is decent enough but expect mostly a good massage with very basic extras...she won't let you get near her so very limited touching. Also, there's lots of traffic where this place is located (not much privacy at all).

Was driving along McNicoll Ave in the east end, saw one spa door propped open - possibly open for guests.

This spa features table shower and is owned by same owner as another nearby spa. Sorry for being vague but for those in the area should know this spa

LOL...Anybody with enough experience can easily figured out which ones you were talking about. The beautiful lady owner is quite restrictive though.

Can't go wrong with Canadian Banks (FIE holds a basket of them and pays a high dividend). Manulife (MFC) might be a good buy now too. But stocks have run up a lot recently, I would wait for a pullback.

Not for the faint of heart but you can use leverage to magnify your profits. For example, you can probably borrow at around 3% now. FIE pays around 8% dividend (was higher last week). Thus, pocket 5% every month while you wait for markets to recover. I did this recently...again, this is a risky strategy so know what you're getting yourself into. Oh, the interest you pay is tax deductible too...nice way to pay for my hobbying

Yes, dividend rates usually reflect annual amounts. If it was 8% monthly, that would be 96% per year (ain't gonna happen). But the interest rate is also annualized.

Lots of people have no problems leveraging against real estate and taking on huge mortgages for rental payments....but are scared to do this with stocks.

If you took out an investment loan of "only" $200K and made 5% per year (actually more since the interest is tax deductible), you would be getting around $10K per year or over $800 per month. Again, this is net...i.e. after paying interest. If you're in the highest tax bracket, you'll also get back around $3000 when you file your taxes since the interest is tax deductible on investment loans. Plus, if you buy low (like practically anytime over the last couple of months), you would have capital appreciation as well. That $800 will more than pay for a few spa visits every month

My advice for anyone thinking about trying this strategy is to start small and only buy "safe" investments such as a basket of Canadian banks. Don't forget, gains may be magnified but so are losses (though the latter will usually take care of itself over time). As always, consult your financial advisor...this is a sex forum after all.
