Hi all,

I'm really glad I found some time during this school break to venture into this part of the forum more deeply, because I'm a total newbie when it comes to experiences with, shall we say, the world of the unseen. I was wondering if I could share a few miscellaneous experiences and get y'all's opinion(s) on what you think they might be/mean/etc.

Most of these took place in 2005, particularly between Oct 2005-Feb 2006.

When massaging in a room with dim overhead lighting, especially when working the upper arm muscles, primarily the biceps, I have seen these tiny glittery, beautiful blue shiny stars. This happened about 2-3 times, usually in the clinic, but possibly once in my home studio.

When massaging in my home studio (which is lit only with 3 nightlights and sometimes up to 2 additional candles) AND in the clinic, I have seen what I call "flickeries"--dark shadows out of the corner of my eye slipping off/away from the massage table. They're like little nondescript dark figures. If anyone has seen the movie "Ghost", where those dark evil figures rise up from the ground at the very end to whisk the now-dead bad guy away to the depths of hell, that's kind of what they're like, but they're not as clear and they're not QUITE as menacing. But they still make me feel a little naked/uneasy because I don't know what they are. I think I usually saw them while massaging the feet/low legs. This happened MULTIPLE times in both locations over the span of about a month. It hasn't happened in a while, though.

This one is STRANGE: Once, while BEING massaged in my home studio by my husband (also an LMT), I forget exactly which area he was working on but I was supine and in the in-between consciousness state. Again, only 3 nightlights were on, so the room was very dim. Suddenly, suspended (about 1-2 feet above me) over my abdomen (slightly to my right) was this THING. It was black and shiny and it had a peculiar shape--something of a Chinese lantern. (The best example I could find is here: http://www.abigailswebsite.co.uk/photos_chinese_lantern_tnail.gif
It's not exact, but it's relatively close. Again, think black and VERY shiny. It danced slightly in the dim light. I sat up VERY fast and said "WTF IS THAT??" My husband was startled (LOL) He said "what?" I described it to him. I knew to my bone it had BEEN THERE. But looking there now, it was gone. I said "I promise you, something was there". So... I am REALLY curious. This happened around the same time as the others.

Hehe so...what do y'all think? ANY comments are greatly appreciated! I really want to learn about this stuff and more.

i don't see things like this when i work, but i very frequently feel a sensation of 'swirling' around the table and it is almost always accompanied by a very... earthy type smell, although i can never place it.

once - **once** - the client smelled and sensed it too - a devout catholic who has never admitted it since. that night, after her session, she entered remission from rhuematoid arthritis, and has been in it ever since. this was four years ago.

then of course there's the lady in the office that i bump into anytime i work on a specific client. i started this area in my tx room with tea candles and each day i light a candle for my husband and children, myself and each client i'll be working on that day. whenever i light ms. jeanne's candle, the lady is there, very present, in the hall looking into the tx room.

i don't guess that answered your questions at all - guess i'm officially a hijacker (is that a word?)

Not to get too woo-woo on you , but I believe they are fairies or elementals. Inter dimensional beings that I call in to assist me in my work. Like worker bees if you will. Elementals work with the physical body.

I tend to notice them more when I'm working with people who are attuned to earth energies.

I teach classes on working with these beings.

Now the other things, sometimes I feel the precense of someone's guides/angels and can see them out of the corner of my eye, but they feel of a high vibration. It feels good.

Small scampering darker images? Do you sense negativity from them or is it an unease due to your not kniowing what is going on?

I think it's more of an uneasiness simply because I don't know. I don't think I actually sense any negativity coming from them

Then believe it or not, they could be fairy too, or animal spirits. Hard to say without knowing you and stepping into your treatment room. But I used to have child sized beings running around at a place by a woods I worked in a while back. Some call them "brownies", but it's a simplistic label on a complicated species of beings.

Start noticing who it seems to happen with, and perhaps read up on the beings of that earth dimension?

There are also healers who seem to have a gift of removing attachments, but again, I think you'll know best which is which. Pretty cool though.

I belong to a paranormal research group and "shadowpeople" are defo a real phenomenon, as are the smaller animal like dark shapes. I've seen them. They do give off a negative vibe and so it's important to differentiate between these types and say, faery beings. If it's the former, it may be in your best interest to get your protection and clearing methods rock solid, you might be what I call a "clearer" kind of healer, one of the spiritual warriors in our work.

Yes. The shapes I've seen are small and very non-descript, almost like solid coherent bundles of smoke or a shadow or something that is so fleeting I can never catch a glimpse of it. It's kind of like it's out of the corner of my eye. I definitely saw them when I was sort of in a trance during a massage, like when my client was sleeping and maybe my aura was more open. When I saw the shadows I snapped out of the trance, trying to follow them (which didn't work ) and I realized that the little trance I was in before, my eyes were kind of unfocused like I was staring at a Magic Eye picture or something and when I snapped back to the physical world, it was like I refocused again. But the shadows did not reappear.

Sorry, I'm rambling again

Now the question is, what's a "clearer" kind of healer, a spiritual warrior, and what do they do? (Please excuse the fact that I am a total newb when it comes to ANY of this, but my belief in the unseen is strong, experience has taught me never to rule anything out, and I think I can learn some of this stuff )

Another site you can explore is the Coast to Coast AM web site. Coast to Coast is a show that plays between 1:00 am and 5:00 am EST all over the country. The show discusses a variety of subjects from shadow people, the paranormal, government conspiracy, aliens and Area 51.

jyoti, you seem to have some natural talent at seeing these things... consider taking some classes to further hone your skills.

The only teachers I know who work with these sorts of things are based in California, so maybe someone else here can point you in a direction... but you'll want to learn how to protect yourself and your client, how to interact with these energies, etc.

It sounds as though you've had some very interesting experiences with all this happening in both the locations you're working at. With that in mind, the possiblity is that you & possibly the clients you have coming to you are bringing this type of experience into your life for a reason.

Okay, here I go, coming out of the metaphysical closet here:

I've been working with this stuff for years on many different levels. I've also seen floating lights move
through my home (a 200+ old stone farmhouse), which is fine with me, and had the sensation of many kinds of "energies" in my home office space.

The smoke/shadowlike shapes are not higher vibrational energies you really want hanging around. This type of entity is more of the sort that get stuck in & around individuals which need to be cleared out & sent on their way. While what you're describing isn't really of major concern to you or dangerous in any real way, it is of a lower level energy which hangs out with a damping effect on the person who its "stuck to" for want of better description. This is basically shamanic work, and can be cleared in a variety of ways. For those clients you are seeing regularly & you know would be open for a discussion about it, you might direct them to read a few books on shamanism. For those who aren't about to go there, you won't be able to do much, other than to clear your space.

As a way of dealing with all of this, start by doing a complete clearing of your space, without any clients around ! Use White Medicine sage, which is often sold by health food stores, Native American stores or online through many herbalist supply places. You may also look into cedar & sweetgrass as additional materials to work with. (However the White Medicine sage is the one most often used.)

Generally speaking you will need a small dish with sides (which can take heat) An old clay plant saucer works well, as does an abalone shell. Just watch out, the bottoms can get hot. Use just a couple of the sage leaves (making sure you won't be setting off any fire alarms first) and light the pieces. Then using your hand, a feather or a prayer fan, begin by sending the smoke out into the corners of the room, as well into all the angles between the walls & ceilings, plus the walls & floors. I generally start in the north or east side of the space & work my way around in a clockwise direction. Some people also use a drum or a rattle during the whole clearing process. You can chant, or pray if you so choose, mentally or out loud with a clear intention that your space be completely & totally cleared of any and all energies which are not for the highest & best interests of the room, and anyone who enters the space. Request that only those energies who are willing to work for the healing & benefit of all who dwell in the space be allowed to remain.

In addition you may wish to start your day by doing some form of ritual you create & are comfortable with:
such as getting in the shower each morning and standing under the water and visualizing it washing through the body, totally clearing you of any & all tension, negativity, etc. you wish to release. Then see yourself being enveloped in a beautiful sphere of white light, add whatever other colors appeal to you as well. You may think of it as your shield, though it is part of the auric field. Send your thought/energy down deep into the earth like the roots of a tree, many people then "see" the roots wrapping around a crystal or going deep into a pool, then bring your attention & the energy back up into your body. You may also want to send the energy up to the heavens, and in a prayer of intention request that your spirit guides protect & assist you in your work, and that they also set up protections around your space & all those who come for sessions as well. If you can find someone to train you in the basics all the better, but in the meantime start reading up on psychic developement & you'll be well on your way to understanding more soon.

There are many books out there, look into the Wiccan & Shamanistic, or even Feng Shui subjects & you'll find plenty of information there. While I sincerely doubt you have anything to be deeply concerned about, you may have some psychic abilities you haven't fully begun tap. That said the "sensitive" individuals I've known, often need to work with someone with experience to learn about grounding & protection skills as the first phase of the work involved in dealing with their abilities. If you're uncomfortable with it all you can most likely shut down the talent you have, but consider the gift you may have been presented with & how you could put it to good use first.

To further clear and protect your room and workspace from lower energies and to help keep it "cleaner", put sage leaves in all 4 corners of your room and leave them there. I have also tried leaving chips of malachite in the corners and above the doorways and window sills as well as a protection agains live individuals who can mean you harm either physically or psychically.

I salt my room with sea salt as a cleansing method --- espcecially if someone with particularly negative attitudes and energies has been in the office and left some of their excessive drek behind.

I use a ritual prayer as I start each work day --- a Tibetan physician's prayer -- that focuses on being compassionate to all beings and helping them to focus on the causes of joy that exist. I think it really helps cleanse and keep clear the "atmosphere" in the office............... that and the "gazillion" stones and crystals that inhabit my space as well.

And another good tip crystal wise is to keep both black
tourmaline & large raw pieces of ruby .
Neither one ever needs to be cleared, (they act like a self-
cleaning oven that way !) You can also use the ruby by holding it after sessions to clear any excess "gunky" energy
out of your body as well. Try ebay for both of these, & go for the larger size pieces to help out for clearing your space.

If you have other crystals around, which will need to be cleansed periodically, they love going outside in the rain, & out under the moonlight too. Their energy feels very clear & vibrant when they come back to their home with you !
I've even done that with my Hot Stones & they feel amazingly different when they've been outside for a day or two. Of course if you don't have a place outside to do this you can at the very least get them into a couple of window sills and that works too, although the effect isn't quite as
strong.

AnastasiaB I'd love to have you post a copy of the ritual prayer you use, share it with all of us !

Ego, I now know I really need to search out someone to teach me This could be so much FUN and it could take whatever facilitation I provide for my clients' healing to a totally new level. I also know that there are some very real risks and dangers to what I am doing now, which is flying blind and nekkid, sort of semi-aware that stuff is out there but oblivious to how to protect myself against that which should not get in! I also know that "dark stuff" has gotten into me before--I have felt it immediately, and on occasion it has clouded my whole day and sometimes even hung around for several days--and I've been lucky enough thus far to find ppl to bring me to release, but then again, I never know what it is I'm releasing, so some of that "stuff" might still be in me!

Riversinger and Anastasia and others, thanks so much for all the great detailed advice on clearing my room and rituals and whatnot. I ate that stuff up! I was jazzed to see such nice lengthy instructions (I thrive on those!) and I confess that I haven't digested it all yet (studying...ugh) but I have copy-pasted the advice into a word document that I saved, and I'll be reading it to my hubby (who is of the exact same mindset I am, luckily ) because I want him to know what I'm learning, and we can implement it together

I think everyone here pretty much covered it as much as it can be online. The lights can also be the Higher Sources such as angels, guides and Ascended masters working on people and assisting you in your session.It has a bit of a different look than say, the sparks of the elementals working on a body. I would defo seek out a teacher in such things. As I said, some people just have the call to clear such things off of others. It's important and needed, so go for it!

Hi all

I just wanted to post sort of a follow up, especially since y'all took so much time to share such fantastic information, and my presence on this board has been so scarce. (I do check in regularly, but my posting time has been, well, dampened a lot.)

I haven't seen much lately by way of the shadows. Either they've gone away, or my ability to see them has been diminished due to lack of energy. School has (temporarily) taken a lot out of me over the past year. (I think I'll start another thread to address that specifically.) Every so often, though, when I'm working on someone, a color will just pop into my head. Some clients are extremely colorful, with different colors popping up everywhere I work.

I have indeed come up with some neat rituals, based in part on the gifts you've given on this board, especially this thread, and I thought I'd share them, in case they help anyone or add to what anyone else is doing. We picked up some Tibetan bells a long time ago (mmm...my favorite!) and we burn nag champa or satya baba incense (also favorites) in the evening. I have both a Saivite Hindu mantra and a Buddhist mantra (both very basic and common) that I chant during the incense/bell cleansing, and during any other times of depression, stress, or other trial (let's just say I chant them a lot! LOL)

There's also some neat music that I listen to that is very calming and very congruent with those Eastern-style traditions (India/Tibet), like Karunesh, Krishna Das, and Osho. Very peaceful! Much like cool water.

Oh--and I'm embarrassed to say that somehow this slipped by me before, but...

Also, I just wanted to say what a wonderful website you've got online. I was very impressed by all the info and the level of work you're doing. It made me wish that Texas & PA were alot closer together !

I just wanted to say, in case it helps, that for the record, even though I may often come off as a "black-and-white" businesslike person with some conservative beliefs, this is paradoxical because even though this is true to a point, I'm also a Hindu and a Buddhist, who is interested in practically EVERYTHING related to things like Yoga/Kundalini energy, meditation, Shamanism, Earth-based/Wicca, Reiki, crystals, vibrations, ESP, and everything else. (I know, I know...weird paradox ) I just wanted to say that so that if anyone was hesitant to mention something for fear of offending me or whatnot, trust me..it's all good
