Well I got a receipt but it wasn’t insurance approved. Literally a piece of paper with just the amount I paid. No insurance provider number, etc.

Do they attract lady customers with their foot spa? I see they have couple massages and male masseuse on their site too? Is it safe to bring a mistress for couple massage?

Anyone been recently? Saw they mentioned new updates on their google page such as sauna and new therapists…but what caught my attention was the shower table. Might have to give it a try next time I’m in the city (hopefully soon) But first wanted to ask if anyone experienced this to have idea how it works and also about new staff if worth it or better stick to original ones?

Thank you for the head's up. The last time I had a massage in a shower was at Jailey's, totally different set up, the whole room was a big shower, soapy water splashing everywhere; I enjoyed the slippery soapy fun session. Of course Jailey's is a FS place so slippery and slidey is not a bad thing. This Strathcona set up seems to allow the room/attendant to stay dry, I can't even imagine a lot of water pressure since the room has to stay dry. Hard to imagine what a session would be like, may have to try.

I concur. I wasn't even sure if this place was open, and could compete with all the massage options, on the south side.

I couldn’t get direct billing at my nearby favorites, so I said "What the hell."...and made the short drive to Strathcona. I was surprised they actually were open. I have seen no Kijiji ads in a long while, and I had to go to page 13, to find this thread. As I waited to get set up with direct billing, a Caucasian lady in her 40's came out, got her shoes on and left. Catering to women, and couples...is a way to stay competitive for sure.

I had YoYo and was put in the massage room, with shower and sauna. The shower was a great size. This shower was like the one at the end, but could only be entered inside the room. YoYo looks to be in her 50's, wore tights and loose shirt. Average body type, B sized breasts I guess. I didn't care for the draping, but it was a thin sheet.

As usual, YoYo was another very, very experienced therapist, with perfect time management, perfected therapeutic massage techniques from head to toe body coverage. In spite of the draping, I was surprised to still leave happy before my time was up. Above average English and finish to the massage.

Great back-up when my favorites don't work out. And, I am happy that they are successful enough not to have to advertise in Kijiji.

Seems like there are a lot of incorrect assumptions about draping. IMHO light draping is always welcome to begin with if the room is not toasty enough to start or the massage bed heater is just kicking in. Not talking about the inexperienced new RMT who tries to do a tourniquet mummy wrap. But initial light draping has never got in the way of mutually pleasurable experiences that follow. It also gives the therapist some time and space to assess what she wants to do with you.

When she came into the room, she was a little shocked and promptly covered me in a thick wool blanket. Yeah the massage was on top of the blanket. I got up and left 20min into the session.

I’ve given up on Strathcona. Stopped in a number of months back on a whim and asked who was working. It was evident there were several girls but I was offered one option only. Wasn’t impressed so I declined. With all the competition out there, I don’t understand how places cannot be more customer service focused.

Walkins get the next person available, or the next one in rotation. Unless, for some reason, she wants to give you to someone else. If u know a specific person, and she is not waiting for an upcoming customer, they should allow you to get her. If you don't know anyone, and they are all available at that particular time., They are not going to parade them all out to you at the same time: so you can pick the youngest, prettiest, best ass, or best titties.
Maybe you get that an AMP....I have no idea.

Well, I don’t know what to say MM other than that has not been my personal experience over the years . I just respectfully ask to see who is available. I’m not expecting a Thai Fish Bowl experience or line up, just some options. Sometimes the next one up is just fine. I’m also patient and never feel like I need to just settle for what’s offered. It’s my money.
