I second that. I pay what I find honest and don't care about what others say about spoiling the "market" and overpaying. If they want cheap, they can find a lot of cheap in some beer bars or on Bangla/Beach Road. I don't care about their arguments. I was there a few weeks ago on my maiden visit to Phuket and had a mere 3 nights to look around. Spent most of those nights on Bangla whilst staying at the C&N which i recommend for location, price and great service. Mainly stayed drinking at Honky Tonk as my mate had the hots for a girl he BF 2x and she avoided his loom on both occasions - period pains apparently, but still a con-job I reckon. I would suggest that it is NOT the best bar for P4P as I saw little evidence of BF and punters heading off for a good time.

2nd night we headed up to SW on the advice of this board .... bit of a battle to make it there unscathed as you have to run the gauntlet if many beer bar girls and other gogo's grabbing you as you try to get to SW. Eventually made it (tho sorely distracted) and went in ---- surprised how small it is compared to Patts or BKG joints --- and took a seat at the seforum.xxxe & ordered drinks. Some nice talent on display indeed, esp a dedicated lady really putting in an effort on seforum.xxxe and later with some lucky dude who got to her 1st ( maybe around 30 ---- beautiful looking lady and quite exhibitionist in nature). Spotted a cute dancer called N and invited her for a drink and within seconds she had 1 of my hands up her sheer top and my other inside her panties before grinding her ass into my groin. Upshot was I BF her for ST but was told to come back in about 1 hour as it was too early.

Points Of Interest (POI) :

• It is really dark in there, really hard to read the bill in that box thing
• As someone here suggested those little torches would be useful but were not available
• Girls less pushy than Beer Bars for LD's
• BF cost me 800b and I never got the change from my 1000 - BF girl took my money to the cashier
• Really hard to see the denomination of your notes in the dark when paying also

She heads off to shower so I crack a can of ice tea and scoff a viagra - man these girls have no fear of a water shoreforum.xxxe and after some time she reappears in a towel.

Needless to say she was no starfish as well and we spent about 2 hours chatting before boom boom and after I ask her to stay long time.

She says Ok but when I ask how much she says another 3000b - i almost fall off the bed - sure, she is way cute but she aint no superstar but as I seem to have some inexplicable interest in her I offer 2k if she stays till I leave Phuket at 4pm. She agrees and rings mamasan to tell her she is staying.

We had a great time together and I am coming back to see her in May.

So ... al up my experiences of SW are positive and I will go back for sure.

Just be careful about the wildly differing prices - and watch the bills as they and your money are hard to see in the gloom

I heard a similar story from 2 girls at SW and DP (they worked in both bars).
They shared the same mamasan (not the ladyboy) and told me that all of the money from the lady drinks was given to mamasan (I understood why they seemed much more happy to receive a tip than a lady drink, even if they had to get a certain number of lady drinks every day), as well as 500 Baht for every customer... I had the (dis)pleasure to meet the mamasan one day and she asked me to buy her a drink... My answer was not the most respectful I've ever given!

One of the girl showed me a few girls at SW who were not "enslaved", they had no mamasan. She was dreaming to leave her mamasan but had nowhere to go, and knew that she would never be allowed to work in another gogo (in Patong) after she left her mamasan.

it use to be called Spicey Girls,IIRC,but the same owner raw,but he changed it to SW2.

some of his staff alternated between the 2 for a while,but its been closed ever since the new SW1 opened.

Also, 140 baht for a beer....who the hell complains about a $4 USD beer? That's cheaper than what I pay at home...
