Some promoters should get banned as they don't know where to stop. All they care is about free room fee and a little allowance from their owners.

With so many threads created for latest Massage Planet website change, I decided to compile them and will write a book later.
I'm still undecided what the title would be:
1. Demystifying Massage Planet Thread Sort Posting.
2. Massage Planet 101 Thread Random Sort Order
3. Massage Planet for Dummies

Summary:
The ultimate objective of disorganized sort is to minimize visibility.
Why? There are spas paying ads. They're the ones with banners found on top of each page in this website. It's direct advertising. Click and you'll find information including schedules, pictures, reviews, feedbacks, testaments, etc.
As you can see, these colorful and blinking boxes are there for a reason.

Then, there's spas on a free ride without paying anything to Massage Planet. They're able to create threads and put any information at their will the same way spas with ads.

Both paying and non-paying are battling to be on top or first page of thread listing. Literally every minute. Well, we can't blame them. It's a tough business to lure every man out there to become their customers and ultimately regulars.

Looking back 10 to 15 years ago or so, Massage Planet were just starting. Spa businesses and users alike have much freedom in using the website. It gave Massage Planet much exposure with high traffic volume of users and interactions. Over the years Massage Planet improved immensely to solidify their status in digital world both spa businesses and users base.

Let's face it, there's no such thing as free in this world. Massage Planet is no exemption. They have to shoulder the cost on the server, DNS name, IP address, database, security, tool kits, developers, apps support and our famous Admin person.

As any business, they're here to earn and make money. It's why they built this site in the first place.

Yes we agree business was created to make money. However, I also do not get: Why discussion about Trump's Marlago case ( started when he lost in 2020. He won 2024 election and even has plan to impose 25% on Canada) but that posting is still always in first page. This political posting about US has nothing to do with SPA business.

Or Massgeplanet bring postings from Edmonton or even India in first page. Just imagine the shock of new users.

Or Massgeplanet brings the Ads about Leo List ( clearly its rival) always in first or second page. I am sure Leo-list does not pay for that. The users post Leolist ads and somehow Massgeplanet thinks it deserves to be in first page for us to see.

My two cents: Massgeplanet always bring the Forums and posting of the paid-SPAs ( who pays for ads) first and second, etc. pages. this was they can even start charging some extra money to keep a SPA forum always at the first page. I may be not getting and could even be wrong but current situation looks is serving no purpose. The above notes were my observations as a user. I could be wrong in my conclusions. After all, the business people know the best.

If they get hits and most of all responses, then type of users will be known to them. It's when the work begins later collects money. Information value fluctuates when interest increase. It's why it'll never stop relevant or not.

Second: MP has always been global under World Massage Review. It's why growth of this portal will just continue, maybe bought or merged. It's a matter of time.

Third: Every link and banner with business name is paid ads. Leo List used to be one of them. Now is gone. Other boards or portal will block links or ads unrelated to the site. At least MP is still moderate.

Fourth and last. The latest MP changes eliminate posting dominance. There's best practices in placed, if broken then you're gutted. The paid ads have some more leeway. Makes sense. Overall, as long as the portal earns money, then all good. It's not business people are all knowing, it's more of having the ability to adjust to capitalize, minimize looses and maximize investments for better returns.

Spa forum? The ads go on the top of every page but you can go to any forum you want. If I don’t pick a ‘Massage Review’ forum, then it’s not on top. General

It’s the software logic. The guys posting there post quite a bit, so they are frequently most recent post. You can filter to only see Toronto forum if you want, and they disappear.

When you are in New Posts or Whats New, there is a Filter drop down. Pick Watched. Then at the top of Toronto Massage Reviews, click on Watch under the ads on the right side.

Go to Forums, New Posts. Click on Filter, click Watched, then Save as default. Now, you have Nothing, no posts at all, including the Trump thread, all gone. That means it’s working but you are only half done. Click on Forums, scroll down to Canada, click on Toronto, then scroll down till you get past the ads. Yes, takes awhile! Then click on Watch. I choose No notications on the next screen. Go back to Forums, New Posts, voila! No more Trump or Alberta or jokes or spa news. Just Toronto.
