The way I interpret the data: vaccines are not 100% effective so even if you have a vaccine that is 95% effective and you're dealing with millions of people then that 5% will equal ten zillion posts, memes and videos on Massage Planet trumpeting every detail of every exception to the rule.

It seems there are quite a few posters who view medical treatments that are incredibly effective – but not 100% effective – as not only being worse than useless: they are the most dangerous, evil thing that has ever happened in human history so far!

And what if it isn’t '95% effective?' What if they tell you you’ll need a third, then a booster every 6 months, you OK with that? Carnival cruise ship, 100% vaxxed, huge outbreak. Isreal, highest vaxxed country in the world, huge outbreak. More deaths and 'events,' in just a few months than all other vaxxines in the last 15 years combined. All facts. But go ahead, line up for more jabs, good luck.

When they were developing the vaccines even vaccines with much lower efficacy rates would have still been considered successful.

But you guys just latch on to every iota of proof that vaccines aren't a silver bullet / 100% solution and declare the entire thing a complete waste of time!

The problem with all the anecdotal reportage is that it obscures the math of the big picture. Yes there are exceptions, always. But science shows again and again the vaccines are extremely effective, even though they are not 100% effective.

Yes there are risks to getting vaccinated, and there are risks to covid. But they are entirely, massively different levels of risk, both for ourselves and society in general.

If you’re so concerned about cases, case counts, brought on by the PCR test which has now been recalled because it doesn’t work, you’d be demanding the use of Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, proven effective, instead of a non approved vax. However, the fake news would like you to believe our hospitals are overwhelmed with cases. 3 of the biggest hospitals in Canada have a total of 2 cv patients. I sometimes wish I was naive enough to believe in the New York Times as a source of news, or any other lamestream media for that matter.

I guess whether to vax or not may depend on whether you have a desire for international air travel at some point. It seems most countries are requiring documentation of vaccine status before allowing entry, and even when you get to many countries, case in point in Europe, you may not be able to dine inside restaurants. So if you are not vaccinated, that type of travel will be a no-go, and likely well into the future.

That may or may not be a big deal for those who are unvaccinated, but it will certainly limit your travel options going forward.

....a preliminary gathering of data showed 13 people in general hospital wards due to COVID were fully vaccinated while 48 were either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated. For those in ICUs, three were fully vaccinated while 13 were unvaccinated or partially vaccinated.

Don't forget your masks and other precautions.

It's not possible to have this conversation when you're convinced your sources are correct and the other side's are not. One side says almost all people getting seriously ill or dying are unvaccinated, the other says "how do you know that's true?". Your point about, 'pretty much all scientists...' is far from correct, maybe the scientists you see on your tv, the ones saying no are quickly removed and de platformed. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario threatened doctors with investigations and termination if they were to speak out against lockdowns and vaxxes, something they quickly backtracked on because so many doctors stood up to them. Thousands of doctors have treated their patients with those drugs and few patients have needed hospitalization, quickly recovered at home. The one doctor who spoke up about treatments last year who was quickly deleted, now has a $100M lawsuit against the media, fauci et al. She will win but you’ll never hear about it.
I said it on another thread about this, I don’t care what you do with your body and health, none of my business, just don’t stick your nose in on mine. There are thousands of pages of information about this whole thing out there, problem is, most don't search it out, they turn on their tv at 6 and 11 and get the narrative and believe it all, cuz their tv wouldn’t lie to them. Eventually, the truth will prevail.

Exactly what the Covid vaccines do. My police officer buddy told me that one. Many of the uneducated anti vaxxers think it should be a perfect escape from getting Covid. That is never the intention of any Vaccine. But it does act like your bullet proof vest, in that you can still get shot, but your chances of surviving with minimal injuries is increased greatly compared to without it.

He also said that those with pre existing conditions and age groups that are more vulnerable are in a situation that they still could get shot in the head - but for the most part that is still very unlikely.

Having been involved in several situations in the past, I have personally been witness to the effectiveness of body armour. It can be heavy, cumbersome but damn it, it made a difference.

My final saying regarding Covid-19 Vaccines

When they say the vaccine is 95% effective (MRN) or 60% (Johnson and Johnson) does not mean you have a 5% or a 40% change of getting infected
that number reflects the number of people that got infected during the clinical trials.

How trials work is; They have 2 groups i get the vaccine the other gets a placebo then they send those people into the community. A certain percentage gets sick, In the MRN vaccine case 5% got sick in the other vaccines 40% got sick. That is what that number reflects .

Of course in the MRN vaccines the numbers were lower since the vaccines come out earlier and the cases were not so large as when the other vaccines come out.

In all vaccine cases the protection you get is the same. HOWEVER; no vaccine is 100% per cent bullet proof. You might still get sick; BUT you will not get severely sick or end up in the hospital.

Vaccinated people can get infected yes 0.0004 got infected after the vaccine, 0.0001 died. Most of the dead after the vaccine had severe sickness complication (delicate health) and/or were elderly (80+)

I know 1 guy who after the vaccine tested positive and he said i felt sick for a few hours, NOT EVEN A DAY

Currently of those covid-19 cases in hospitals 100% are unvaccinated people.

You have a choice: get vaccinated get protected or stay unvaccinated and have 0% protection.
