I have absolutely no hard feelings and my responses on this particular thread speak more to my irritation of being labelled a judgemental bitc* when that is so far from who I am. And to SAT, I never denied there are some 18 year olds that may want to drop their life savings on bar girls, I only said that many also don't and many find it off-putting, there is many varities of people on this earth and everyone is entitled to do exactly as he or she pleases!

PS. I just read his post and he mentions a budget of 5k us dollars for his trip not for bg's, in fact he never mentions bgs just asks about girls in general. So you could be right or you could just be reading into his post what you want to see. I do not care either way though, it is really whatever floats his boat!!!!

The main point i want to make is that many people do not seem to do any research whatsoever about the destination they are about to choose.
If these parents with their young sons where to ask me if pattaya would be a good destination for them then the answer would be a deifnate NO, explaining that pattaya is known as ''bangkok on steroids''

I have seen couples who look offended in pattaya with my own eyes and can't help but think ''why did you come here?'' ''did the travel agent not advise you?''

There are many places in thailand - ie phi phi islands - Krabi - Koh Samui - many places in the north etc... where the action is either almost non existant or very toned down comapred to bangkok - pattaya etc..

There is vast amounts of info all over the internet which can be easily found which would point someone looking to get away from the thai/farang scene.
On the subject of discos which are pickup places for farang men with thaigirls (freelance hookers) - again there are discos which are full of farang like banana disco in patong - tai pan & tiger in patong on the other hand will have freelancers around.
There are discos for almost ''thai only'' which may suit you also. However i think your comments are harsh, I myself am not a fat ugly man who cannot get a woman, have had many gf's and admirers over the years and still have a few admirers now at age of 33 in my life here in the uk.
I have seen men of all kinds with thai women - young - old - handsome - ugly - wierd - gorgeous and so on.
It ain't simply all about sex either- don't get me wrong - we all like that part but we also like thai women for many other reasons- good company, learning about other cultures etc..

Lot of good recommendations already, but I also think the bar scene is OK also for single girls. I have lot of girls, couples and families at MTB and they have a good time. Patong/Phuket is more relaxed than Pattaya/Bangkok since we have lot of families and couples here.

I have an expat friend who is a girl and she used to come to MTB often but she moved to Koh Samui for another position.

If you feel comfortable to be with Thais and be the only farang around I can recommend Thai discos/clubs which caters mainly to the Thai crowd. I used to go to such places when I felt bored with the main places here and I had a good time. We have galaxy in Patong and lot of clubs in Phuket Town, althought they change name all the time. At these places, it is more like regular clubs back at home without the girl for money scene.

Its as simple as this -

1) You forced that girl into having sex when she said 'No' repeatedly OR
2) You WROTE A STORY about forcibly having sex with that girl. If THIS is the truth, then WHY did you write such a thing without EVER mentioning in your ramblings that you were mixing fact with fiction.
