Over the past week there have been a few threads started about falling in love with MPA's. I dont think a lot of you appreciate what a sweet deal this whole MP/MPA deal is. You get to see a beautiful woman and there are no strings. You dont have to call them, buy them exspensive presents, pretend like you get along with their parents, cancel plans with friends because she wants to go see the latest cheesy dating movie, etc.

Am I the only guy who would rather just go there every now and then and spend 30-60 minutes with them,rather than asking them out and making them feel uncomfortable every time you see them? I'd be lying if I said I didn't want a few of them as FTF's, but to actually date them? Now that's just a mish mash of assorted mush.

totally agree...many of the are indeed lovely, but the basic idea is not to "fall in love" with them. Perhaps its OK to fall in love with certain things that they do to you. but that's about it as far as I am concerned!

Its a sweet deal all right. The whole point is to have an enjoyable time together and then move on. I have seen a dozen or so MPAs in my limited experience in the MP scene and so far I haven't repeated, (This is not a hard and fast rule, however.)

I'm with you on this one Rusty. If I had to spend that time and money fostering some relationship to the point of sex I'd be an old and broke man.

That's not to say I wouldn't want a relationship with a woman at some point. But until that happens paying for 30-60 minutes seems like an amazing deal. If I get a good conversation and a few laughs out of it that;s just a bonus.

Besides let's be honest when was the last time any of us dated a woman of say Amber of IT's calibre in terms of looks?

At this point I can't afford myself.. how can I afford someone else?

You're not the only one. I think the problem is that too many guys have watched too many porno's or soft-core Playboy features. We go looking for that fantasy type of experience where she saunters across the room very sensually and wispers all the right words to us as if we were the only one in her universe. It's not real in the porno's or Playboy features and it's not real here. This hobby is not a substitution for reality but a temporary distraction (30-60 minutes) but I think sometimes we forget to recognize that. A little infatuation is not bad but thinking love can be found is a dark abyss that we would fall into. If you're not mentally strong enough to recognize this as a only fantasy and leave that at the door on you're way out then you shouldn't be in this hobby.

Is the definition of love as in "falling in love with an MPA" actually possessive obsession or fixation? And does failure to possess the object of this obsession result in the ego's desire for vengeance? Because love is just a word. It can have any definition one wants to attach to it.

I've often wondered the same thing Rusty.

MPA/SP is the sweetest deal one could ask for....you walk in, unload your "clip" *bang bang bang*....and walk out....no hassles, no sqwaking in the ear, no lying, no excessive sneaking around...just a sweet ass smile on your face.....where else are you able to get a deal like that....thats what many guys dream for.....hassle free pussy.

IMHO I don't think a lot of guys on the board are of the right mind set to be hobbying. It looks like they need to tackle other issues in their lives before starting up with this hobby (but then again thats just my opinion).....This hobby can be mad fun, but you can walk away hurt pretty bad if you're not ready for it.
