Subic is primarily a retirement community now. You can go to a few bars, but they provide few girls.

Angeles City is is the spot, most barfines are around 1200p, with the girl getting about half. No negotiating the deal with the girl. A tip is appreciated in the morning.

Safety is ok, however, you still have to be careful. I felt safer in Thailand. In Angeles City you have to be careful with the locals. Many are bitter seeing foreigners spending alot of money. When they have so little.

I've had my cell phone almost ripped out of my hand and had it stolen (along with a digital camera) that I left on a bar one night. Don't walk down dark alley's, don't flash money, don't wear expensive jewelry or clothes and you will be ok.

Like Thailand, you don't want to talk to the police, or you will "donate" to the cause (if you know what I mean).

Other than that, Batangas (Angeles City) is pretty safe. Just don't argue with a local. Don't embarass them. You will be ok.

Stunners, I would say it would be around the same as in Thailand. I'm getting picky and like door girls and waitresses now. Don't ask me why. Unless of course they have big racks.

Don't worry about traveling by yourself, you will be ok. Most bars are on one street so you can be in and out of a bar within 2 minutes.

Your right Jaybee if you have a limited time a real normal girl from a good middle class family would take alot of effort, speaking Thai, and time to get to really know them. And then maybe she will kiss then maybe go to bed with you. It really takes a long time if you are the first farang she has ever spent time with. If you are on vacation you can't afford to use that much time.

If the girl has had previous experience with Farang's then it may go quicker.

I know some of you earlier were talking about bar girls and settling down and stuff, but really come on. If youw ant a long term relationship why would you pick a BG? You know what she wants, she wants money, and will lie blatantly to you to get it. I don't want to tar every BG with the same brush but I am sure 90% can be.

If you want a proper GF, dont get her from a bar/club. Just because they have names like BG, GoGo Dancer, doesn't mean they aint a hooker.

Chat one up, who has a real job. Got to the opticians, browse, get friendly with a cutie behind the counter. Someone who appreciates work and money. Not someone who just wants to screw the next guy over and buy another bloody buffalo for her parents.

Yes, what people have said is true. But if you are looking for a long term relationship, then being on holiday here, will probably get you the type of money wanting. If you are looking for a long term relationship then being here a long term is what is needed. So you can then work on the middle class type person. You also can get your end away while working on her. If she is a "good person" then she will not be going to Patong etc at night, so you can still have your fun, while searching for that "true love".
