I haven’t experienced that firsthand myself. No worse turn off for me than having to worry about my conscience, or feeling pity. In this day and age, sex work does not need to be exploitive. There is no victim when the provider is eager and willing to make a living by offering sexual services. Fair exchange, with no exploitation. Sure it can happen, as in any other business, but most of us do respect the women involved and wish them the best.

Anyhow, it definitely seems this wasn’t the career for you, and nothing wrong with that.
