Your board Handle: To tell or not to Tell??

In etown, when pooning, Should a guy let the SP know his board handle or not?

There are Pluses and Minuses to each alternative, and I'll discuss these after I have some feedback from the guys as well as the ladies (the gals are invited to share their views on this topic).

Guys, can you share what has been your experience with this subject??

Generally I do not volunteer my handle, there are however a few SPs who do know who I am. For indy escorts, if I book her through a PM in Perb, they will obviously find out who I am when I show up for a session. For MPAs, a few times our conversation during the session will drift toward discussion of review boards, they would directly ask what my nick is and I told them.

I don't have any bad experiences having SPs discovering my handle, it allows for a stronger connection and it permits me to more easily contact them for booking by PM if necessary.

Seriously, though, I think it depends on how I book. If over phone, then no, I would not provide a handle, although I may mention that I am a member of a review board. However if I book via PMs online, well, I have tried to hide my handle, but had no luck so far .

My board handle has saved me having to deal with references and that kind of shit countless times. I got nothing to hide and it makes my pooning life easier.

Like cargo, I tend to use it in the booking process as well. If they're aware of massageplanet, there's never an issue getting an appointment.

If seeing an SP at a local studio, I say absolutely not. It's best to claim ignorance of any review boards. It's a proven fact that a large amount of SPs do not like massageplanet or PERB members, usually because they have something to hide about their service and feel threatened by you doing a review. This will only lead to a terrible session on your behalf.


When booking through an agency or a visiting escort, one usually has no choice but to reveal your handle. These girls are much more tolerant and comfortable with massageplanet and PERB members, basically because they are advertising here in the first place and want our buisness.

Really? My experience has been exactly the opposite in that when they find out I'm on massageplanet, the service steps up. Of course, 90% of my bookings originate here so that probably explains a lot of it.

I'm having trouble digesting that an SP would feel threatened by a review, unless they're just fucking terrible to start with. Almost EVERY sp I've seen has asked whether I will do a review or not. Interesting differences between the two cities.

Almost all, if not all, of my bookings originate through the boards so this is a useless question for me.
I have had a very few ladies request that I not post a review and, unless it's a complete train wreck, I respect their wishes.
I guess if you are a complete dick on the boards using your handle could be a detriment... altho it doesn't seem to have slowed JustGR8 or Cargo down.

If you come across as an obsessive, opinionated, meddling prick you may be well advised to hide your identity, but otherwise I see no problem.



I haven't seen many Providers in Edmonton but the few encounters I have had were initiated here using my handle.
I see no differences between cities.

I always offer my board handle and it has never been a problem for me. It never even occurred to me that it could be problematic.

Yep, same for me. It's nice when they have a sense of who I am first and are still pleasantly surprised after meeting me.

I think the big difference is the prevalence of the MP scene here, which I've noticed is fairly uncommon. They thrive on a walk-in business where the LG makes the decisions quickly, so they can get away with sub-par service more often. That's not always the case, I've had some good experiences at MPs and there are guys here who rave about Lillith and Kendra and others, but the walk-in nature of it changes the dynamic a bit versus having to make an appointment to see an escort.

Ok, that kind of makes sense to me. I used to use MP's in Edmonton quite a bit years ago and remember a few instances like what you described. Of course I didn't know any better back then.

I don't divulge my handle unless I have chatted with the SP on this board or on PERB. I don't want to give the impression that I'm throwing my name around to get top service.

However, the SP will find out who I am because:
a) she reads my review of her and put 2+2 together
b) my id (plus my likes and dislikes) is revealed by another SP
c) we get into a conversation about review boards

I follow pretty much the same practice. I have brought it up once in the past and it ended up being one of those infamous awkward moments. When I first found Perb, I had posted a review of Kendra and added some comments to another thread. A week later I saw her and she had already figured out who I was. LOL

That make sense to me also as since I discovered massageplanet I have quit going to MP`s because of the previous iffy service and their hard narrow tables. (with the exception of Selina), but I met her before she had the massage parlour.

I prefer to be anonymous. One of my best sessions ever was with Lilith who didn't know I watch the boards, but I introduced myself via PM later in the afternoon. Somehow to me it just keeps the playing field even. I don't want a SP to do anything different than usual or think that I am trying to use the board for extras.
