You don't pay any commission with most of the high street places. I generally find though Marks & Sparks have the best rates. Today you get 65 baht for your £ rather than 62 at the post office. Not much difference but enough for beers!
You can either buy online or at their bigger stores. But if you go into most of the high street travel agents and say you've seen it cheaper elsewhere they'll usually match that rate. Don't make it up though cos they all know each other's rates!
