i may have been harsh in my words but i dont apologize one bit!
a girl going to a strange man's room to sleep with him deserves more than what these mutts are "willing to pay"

now to be civil:ill give you my reasoning on why i tend to give a little more, not everyone has to overpay.

believe it or not, alot of these girls are not real happy about working in a bar, they put up with it
i think it falls into 3 categories:
a farang they dont want to sleep with but need the money
a farang whos not their 1st choice but not that bad either
a farang they willingly would want to sleep with

i would say the majority of this board falls into the 2nd one.
and im sure they have had enough horror stories so i feel if i can make them feel comfortable along with me having fun and i can give them maybe a little extra, they walk out of that room feeling pretty good

Well done man! Actually my very first night with a BG during my last trip was something similar... We hooked up at the bar went to Tiger disco for some dancing which was great and after that we went to my room. This is classic misrepresentation. Noone on this thread has argued that. It shows it shows the weakness your argument if you have to misrepresent someones ideas to argue against them.

What I tried to demonstrate was that 800 baht was four times a labourers daily wage, or to put it another way, about 25 meals for those who `haven`t had a decent meal in days`. That is relatively good money in local terms.

Ah, you might say, you have flown half way across the world with your big farang money, why not splash it around and make the worried bar girls smiles a whole lot wider.?

Yes, why not. Why don`t you give these girls farang rates. Instead of your 1kb or 2kb, give her the 20kb or 30kb you would have to pay in her in farangland. That would pay the doctor bill, surely? My comments certainly seem to have attracted a few vehement replies.

It has been two years since my last trip, so, as was stated, an extra 200BHT isn't a lot. However, I do believe that the BF in a standard Beer Bar is only still 200BHT at this time / season of the year?

Even though my budget (like most) is not without reasonable limits, paying an extra 200BHT per night, certainly would be preferable to seforum.xxxgering around Patong all night with an hard-on!

I have found though, after sampling a number of BGs over the years, from the rather attractive, to, what could be described as 'quite plain', that I prefer the plainer ones every time. They seem to have a much more pleasant disposition, and a more down-to-earth personality, making for a far more enjoyable time, and much better sex.

Interesting thread to Read, and each side has a point to make.

At the end of the day it is surely down to the BG or FL if they do or don't go with a punter. Not that I agree with anyone trying to short change or rip off anybody.

But if a lady stays with you for a few days or more, doesn't that give an indication that she is happy enough with the situation. Thats what PDM was saying was his usual experience in LOS, and he wasn't talking about stunners, who may sometimes be a little more demanding, money wise.

Whatever you pay her, she gets the BF experience, a guarantee of sorts of regular income for a time, and I presume meals, drinks, a few gifts and treats - total it all up, and its well over 1000bht a day. Maybe the barfine on top of this. But everyone is happy, thats the purpose.

A lot of them would like to make money quick, don't we all. But that could lead me to starting a new Thread, which I will do now.

Why is the farang price in any way relevant.. Andjust for your info I have given large sums away as loans and gifts over they years to BGs and didnt press for sex over it !! Why ?? Because I was lucky enough to be able to and they were stuck. I have helped with many rents when they were in a bind and offered a girl 40k for an abortion so her folks didnt have to find out that was nothign to do with me.. I give what I feel like over the minimum rates depending on how well I know the girl, how much she may need it, etc..

Sometimes confusses me , as one is paying too much (me e.x.) you get a laugh from the others, paying less ( for what ever reason, not everybody has a big budjet and this is nothing to be flamed for imho) get also a laugh. Cant understand why its a big thing as everybody to himself as he likes and as he can afford. As an newbie i really spend a lot not knowing what the prices are, but its holiday and i had a lot of fun. I paid my money to learn and its ok, i think i wasted much more in my life for some sh1t. And the girls were happy and could need it. next time i know it better , thanks to the board and the info i got out of here. If i had found it before my holiday it would have saved me a bunch but i dont cry about it, it was the holiday of my life

But on the otherside i can understand LIL too. Once i have been with a guy in a night club and there has been a very sweet girl. i didnt want to go with any girl just have some drinks so she dealed with that guy i came to the bar. Than he started to negotiate the price, but not with respect to the girl. So after a time i went crazy because it was really a shame how he acted , treating her like a piece of meat. I throw the money on the table and told him to go now with the girl or to kiss my a$$. really embarassing situation for the girl, and what made me crazy was the fact that i know him and that he could easily spend this money.It was the last time i went out with him and basta.
