To the best of my knowledge, the ficha bar is a very "Mexican" thing and a way for a lady to earn a bit of money as a drinking companion. I believe when chicas travel to work in TJ they generally have their sights set on bigger money and after awhile will begin going to the room.

You can always counter with..."I won't pay you, and then you won't feel like a puta".

I've fucked two ficha only chicas in the last year. I just told them I wanted them to come home with me. It works sometimes.

Fireballs, I like your suggestions and in the future I will always start up by asking them if they go up, or maybe pretending to take them up first, then "changing my mind" to get a drink first. I usually like to sit down with them initially to gauge their personality and how good the experience will be upstairs.

For the chicas that won't go upstairs "with you," I suppose they have a maximum "disgust factor" they can tolerate. However, I clarify that I'm a average looking guy, look like in my mid-20s, trim body, clean, pleasant personality, and under most ordinary circumstances have no trouble at all dating average looking women in the US. It's rare there are "providers' that don't go upstairs nowadays but I guess you still run into them. Most of the time they just don't want to go upstairs with you, but they will go upstairs if they feel like it.

If they really are bar virgins and don't have sex with anybody they usually come around after a few weeks or go back home.

It's always best to find out if they do go upstairs or now during the first drink by simply asking them. If they tell you they don't go upstairs, or are on the period or some other bullshit. Then you could simply not buy them any more drinks and part company and find somebody that does go upstairs, and that's most of the girls in the bars.

This topic is about a certain % of the ladies who will not go upstairs with you. My rough estimates are that 10-15% are drink companion no sexo chicas. One chica, whom I bought her 6 drinks for the 1 hour I was with her [$48 = 6 drinks(7 drink+1 tip)], actually seemed apologetic when she saw the disappointed look on my face when she told me she doesn't ever go upstairs with any guy. She promised me she never goes up and it wasn't because of me.

Amigomio, for my part, I do play their game and buy drinks for the company of ladies I enjoy. However, I refuse to have a chica I am not interested in foisted upon me. The Tropical chica that told me no sexo, but then backtracked, probably did so for a number of reasons. One, she was a little bit drunk or buzzed. Two, we had pretty good interaction. Three, she will be earning extra money. Four, maybe she was a little lonely in TJ. Women can be emotional creatures. I can tell this chica honestly never went up clients because when we got to the hotel reception area, the guy at Hotel Del Oro kind of gave her a sly look and she gave back a shy look. I can imagine she probably said she only sells drinks, no sexo and he told her "you'll change, we'll see."

If the no sexo chicas want to make 300 pesos only from selling 10 drinks on a slow night, then they get what they deserve. 300 pesos = $25 USD for 8 hours, or $3.125 per hour. On Fridays or Saturdays, a decent looking girl (7+) can probably do at least 30 drinks or 900 pesos = $75 USD for 8 hours, or $9.75/hr. These are gross incomes, and they still have to subtract the relatively high cost of living in Tijuana. My estimate is that a good looking girl (7+) can clear $250 per week (~ 100 drinks per week) or $1,000 USD a month of gross income from drinks only. Her expenses will run about $150/week or $600 a month to live in Tijuana, giving her a net $400 discretionary savings, which she needs to support for children back home. I am all ears if anybody has more accurate estimates for drink only chicas.

A "6" looking girl would probably be just barely breaking if she only sold drinks in TJ due to inability to sell a lot of drinks.
