First night back in Patong

I used the upstairs toilets when I was there, but I did think it was a bad idea... I could definitely see drunken falangs taking a nasty tumble down those cement steps. Kinda steep too, IIRC.

I was fine with the uber-clean soi Eric toilets charging 10 baht. Compared to the pure filth I've encountered elsewhere, it's worth it to me to go into a bathroom that doesnt make me want to vomit from the putrid stench.

I only saw guys cleaning. None tried to touch me whenever I went, but then again, that could be based solely on me looking like I'd stab them with my prison shank.

Nope, not for me anyways never tried to massage me, too young regular guys who sit on the floor and clean up after almost every client. MY usual routine is paying with a 20 THB then getting the 10 THB change. I then give the coins to the young cleaner guys after going out. Very friendly and they remember me so no problems.

Set off early afternoon, walking down Rat-u-thit exploring the massage shops. Love doing this, the only downside is the heat and the lack of proper showering facilities in most of the Patong massage shops. Saw quite a few promising looking ladies, just opposite and down from Christin's. Also a larger looking new shop on same side as Christin's, not far away. Used to be an ice cream shop will take a closer look another day.

Walked as far as Sawatdirak then up the Beach Road, seeking foot massage lady with prospect of an oily later in mind. Foot massage lady she "Day off today!". After exploring some more of the shops up time for lunch, weather is a little too unsettled for the beach. Back down the Beach Road to a shop I know well and opted for a pedicure. Find this (or a foot massage) a good way of weighing up the delights of the ladies and finding out which ones I connect with for a better oil massage. I don't always go for the happy ending or to the shops where it is on offer. Headed back to my hotel for a shower, got stopped outside one of the Rat-u-tit shops by a delightful young cutie and got persuaded to have an oil massage. Felt a little guilty about declining the offer of a happy ending, but I wanted to save myself for the evening and I am glad I did.

Started the night in Mai Thai Bar, my first visit this trip and was greeted warmly by the staff. Soi Eric is my favourite Soi at the moment, lamenting the loss of Soi Lion. Spotted a particularly appealing lady in a nearby bar. Soi Eric is so quiet early on these days, ladies used to be chomping at the bit, wanting to be allowed to start dancing at 10:30, now it seems to be 11:30 and many of the bars don't seem to bother at all. Because it was so quiet, decided not to just hop straight over to the other bar. When it is busy, I usually don't bother about being seen, but I know the ladies often don't like to see it. Thought I would have a few more beers with possible starfish lady in Soi Seadragon, but she had been barfined already. After a few drinks elsewhere returned to Soi Eric and hooked up with the the appealing lady I had seen earlier. Barfined her and wow, did she try hard to take care of me. My own performances with a-go go ladies in particular have been poor recently, but what a difference when the lady warms me up properly. It is not very often that I am offered three sessions overnight by a barfine, but to be able to finish three times as well is now most unusual for me.

She didn't leave my room until nearly 2pm, by which time I was ready to go out exploring again. Wouldn't be up for a special massage today so went to see foot massage lady. Things are so quiet for her, she was delighted to see me. She is a lot older than I thought at 44, but still in good shape. She offered me her number and said if I call she pay shop and come running to me. Haven't called her yet.

My regular bar lady from last time called me from Buriram, although I found out later she had actually been barfined for several weeks. She arranged to meet me but then later cancelled. Also had a call from a massage lady in Karon, I was stunned as she didn't know I was coming back at this time and hadn't heard from her for a couple of months. She hadn't had a customer for nearly a week. Trouble is Karon is a 350/400 baht each way, taxi ride from Patong so runs out expensive.

Night time in Soi Seadragon, turns out the bar owner I had previously doubted about one of my previous ladies coming back had been honest after all. She had actually been back in Patong for over a month, but has another job doing beer promotions in an Irish Pub. Spent a most enjoyable evening with her, but did not barfine her. Got soaked walking home in the rain.

Can't beat the soi Eric toilets so clean. When I used the toilets in DP there was sick everywhere was nearly sick my self from the smell.

Yeah, they're probably the cleanest bar toilets I've ever used...but would it kill them to put up a paper towel dispenser seeing as we're paying 10 baht a pop!
I give the towel a very wide berth and would prefer not to use my jeans 555

In the past, every bar on Soi Eric had to have a girl dancing after a certain time...this is no longer the case which explains why you saw vacant podiums.
Anyway, I'm glad you struck oil on your 3rd night.
