The last business to reopen will be spas. There are 60 regulations for outside workers to follow. As long as this virus is not contained spas are dead. How do you apply restrictions and enforce them enough to allow spas to safely operate? Impossible ! The only definite reason new cases are down is because we're in lockdown ! Personally I think schools will be the very last to open, if ever. Students staying six feet apart? Haha good luck with that!! That will never happen so obviously schools need to stay shut until this is completely behind us.

It's true the only reason why cases are down is because of lockdown. Ending lockdown will guaranteed equal more cases, so keeping the lockdown permanently in place until the pandemic is totally over is really the only sensible course of action when you truly think about it.

Sure maybe freedom, community, human contact, the economy and civilization as we know it will all be completely destroyed, but at least we will have saved life, precious life.

May I throw in an obvious point - if you are a sex worker you are not risk averse! Those who are not already meeting clients covertly will likely come back as soon as spas are legally allowed to open.

If you think kissing is the only risk, you're being wildly optimistic. Literally everything about a massage makes is a horrible idea in a post-pandemic world. Just being in the same small room is enough to catch it if one of the two people are infected.

Consider this a moment. An asymptomatic dude come to the MP. There about a 100% chance he will infect the girl, because this virus is so incredibly contagious. Now, within a few hours or a day or two at most, the virus has taken hold of the MA, who may not exhibit symptoms either for a few days and may not ever exhibit symptoms. So there's a high likelihood she'll infect a bunch of her clients as well.

I think going forward, there will be three types of clients... those that are poorly informed, those that take the "Let Jesus take the wheel" types, and those that are vaccinated or immune.

Personally, I think my MP days may be over for a long time, and possibly forever. Or at least until there's a vaccine, and I've had it!
