New tiger complex - November opening

Don't worry about the drink prices going up in the new tiger. the entrance fee to get into the old tiger has gone up already.
went there last weekend normally 150 baht and get free drink. the crap vodka and flat coke not worth 150, went pay and thought oh gone up to 160 baht entrance fee. no 180 baht. had not been there for about 3 months so thought ok. got free ticket for drink, same crap drink. at 2am only about 60 % full mainly thai birds. had drink and left. went to tai pan ordered my usual drink there 160 baht vodka and coke. blow me over with a feather 180 baht for this also. well tai pan at 3am only 50% full. if this is way of patong this high season then don't think the tips for staff will be coming. going to be some sad looking bar staff, not that there looking like that already.

if the old tiger bars are only about 7 rows deep and the last 3 rows are empty of customers what about the new tiger when it's looks about a 15 row deep complex.

at the moment in the front bars there selling the crap you see around in all the market stalls in patong. looks like a load of them bars could be the same when it opens.

Seems to be design as they go. Checked it out on a wander down Soi Bangla the other day. Four stories at the back (second story split into two), three at the front. The roof as pictured seems to be now abbreviated to cover just half the building, leaving half the top floor uncovered, on that day anyway.

I guess having trained up the craftsmen to execute their unique architecture, the Tiger people feel a need to keep them in practice.
