hi thre me and my 2 friends are flying in sun 11th apr to mon 3rd may a couple of questions i would like answered plz
what will the weather be like, bar girl rates in patong, and what to do place to see ect, and finaly songkrang info plz

good time of year, weather should be good throughout your trip.

As for prices of ladies, etc. look for tour reports starting now as prices should be back to normal after Christmas.

What are you interested in doing while in Phuket? We can reccomend stuff based on that.

As for Songkran, you will have a blasst if you have never been then.

Have you been to Thailand before, especially during Songkran?

If not, for a first timer, Songkran is great fun. There will be a couple of days where you cannot travel around without being soaked by both locals and other tourists. It is very hot and humid around this time so get a yourself water pistol from the street sellers and join in the fun. Remember to put your wallet, camera, phone etc in a plastic bag before going out.

What to do and see? Well, there are numerous good beaches outside of Patong such as Surin, Laem Sing, Kamala, Karon Kata, Kata Noi and Nai Harn. All worth a visit as are others. There are ladyboy shows at Simon Cabaret, a Thai themed show at Phuket Fantasea.
You can go elephant trekking for around £5, snorkelling at Coral Island, day trips to Phi Phi island and James Bond Island.
There is a zoo where you can sit with a tiger for a photo, crocodile show, a snake farm, a plenty of temples to see.
That should start you off.

Phuket Bike Week in April, normally the second week IIRC. Usually a good crack and some mean bikes around from all over Thailand if that's your thing.

Must be "the luck of the Irish" that you have been treated so well today, either that or there are a few that have not logged in yet.:he:

Anyway, I have been a few times and would suggest maybe a daytime massage in Soi Kebsup (sp) or at least a walk through there to see if you can make it to the end of the street.

Also as a first time visitor maybe an island trip on the fast boats.

Prices are up to you and girl, but if you budget for B2000 LT you will not be disappointed and will probably come back with change.

Weather will be better than Ireland, but then again weather is better than Ireland 12 months of the year.

Just relax and enjoy, use the charm us Irish are renowned for, I know I have never had a problem and i am not exactly Brad Pitt, maybe more like the Pitts. :he:

hi all thank you for all the info so far this will be my 2nd time in thailand i was there for 2wks last jan in patong had a ball but as ya can see im headin over songkrang this year. did phi phi and that but will probbly do it again as 1 of my m8s im goin with this time has not been b4 my other friend this will be his 8th time. like i said b4 any more info is greatley appricated.
