Spa girls are more scare than us cuz they don't know who their customers will be and where they have been to. I have to comfort them by telling them those guys won't be here if they are not feeling well. The only risk they have is to come across with someone on incubation period. I just told them , if they don't need money it is best to stay home. I may be old but I have faith in my health condition and still going around. I avoid crowded confined places as much as I can. I have never been sick for over 30 yrs and never take any flu shots. All I do is take care of myself well and wash my hands as often as necessary. My doc is pretty cool. He said I won't die even if I got infected..lol.

That may be so in some well known body rub parlors. Not at Asian spas and never heard of it from any girl working at Asian spas.

I just did a quick search on expedia and 1 ticket return to shanghai (using random dates) and I got quoted $1,260 return (Non-stop $1,913).

Like you said, it's mainly clients in the incubation stage that they have to be concerned about and there's nothing they can really do to protect themselves...just have to hope for the best.

As for you, glad you're in a strong healthy state and wish you the best. I still plan on hobbying (for now) but will closely monitor the situation as it seems to change by the hour...

WHO gives USA perhaps 10 days to reach Italy's status as a national crisis. Because Canada has been much more aggressive in seeking out those infected and finding out where, they give us 18 days to find our selves in the same predicament.Once this disease becomes "community spread" lights out. Our chief medical official stated yesterday that the GTA has 1 chance and 1 chance only of "SIGNIFICANTLY" reducing the impact of this disease. And that is for as many of us as possible to go beyond hand washing and self isolate.Most of us can't do that. We need that pay cheque. But here is what I can do to give myself the best chance. Take every opportunity I have to self isolate. Stand on the TTC as far from anyone else as possible. Avoid non essential gatherings ( sporting event, trade shows, the latest pussy mayor John Tory press conference) etc. And most of all, DUH, avoid intimate contact with strangers.If you value the health of yourself and those around you, Get the fuck out of the spas. Haven't been to a spa since I saw Lily at One Spa on February 16th and won't be going to a spa for at least till June. And that's only if this virus is heat sensitive and dormant by then.To the girls-women who work in this profession stay home. Your health is worth more than a few bucks you can make up for in a few months.

Decided to cancel a booking for this Saturday. Was looking forward to it, but don’t want to take the chance.

My last visit was Feb. 26, so should be ok, don’t want to tempt fate again until this declines in numbers.
