Probably, but according to my source, ( this week and a well known hotelier) not for a while yet....

He claims, and remember this is Patong, that the long term picture is still the same, and that is that the bars WILL move inland eventually.
The deal with Soi Lion fell thru' and it will remain the same indefinately.
Soi Sukhumvit, the only bar beer soi on Rat U thit rd., that was dieing a slow death, has been renovated, and will be punched thru as a walking Soi to the soon to be completed Soi Kee and renovated Soi Sea Dragon....( I am a bit cynical about this claim as i cant see any 'joiner Soi' to Soi SD being constructed.
Anyway he seemed certain there will be no change to Soi Lion for the next year....

Not sure of the bars name on the shoe shop side , but is about 2 foot up so you can see the bgs nickers, opens early arvo and had overpriced LD's... I think theres a 7/11 on the Bangla side ?

Soi Sukhumvit is being renovated now and when finished you'll be able towalk through into Soi Seadragon again and the new "Walking Street" alongside that resort being built.

If you look back at many posts they are targeted to me and other Irish board members you will see that we are treated as lower class and insulted regularly but hey I am not wasting anymore of my time with you.I also never said my opinions were lower class I said they are treated as if they are.
Get your facts correct ..Actually don't bother as I really couldn't care anymore.

haha true true.I am not really worried about the hotel I know its a great place I was just concerned about the pool.I know once I get there people will see I am not as uptight as I appear.In fact I am more concerned that everyone else is as uptight than they appear 5555

As an Irishman living in Aussie,and on the forum here, I have never found stuff about the Irish as targetting us. In all honesty how the hell could say, the poms attack the Irish. LOL
In saying all that, some of the Irish on here are the most argumentative people I have seen, but then again that is our trait. We do not take crap from anyone, anymore. LOL

Yep, thats at the Entrance....I used to take a Burinam girl ( Young Lady TR 2) from that bar when it was actually up the stairs,
So according to my cource, that Soi will be punched thru ( as it was about 4 years back) and joined up to the back of Sea Dragon but it will need about 50 metres of Soi or laneway added to do so .

just spoke to sister who was in a bar on lion last night and the owner says they have to out of the soi by the 5th of sept at the absolute latest. more like the end of aug though.
