why we should pay 1500 bath LT

Just come back from my 1st tour to Phuket, the most impressive thing to me
is not the beautiful beach, not the pretty girl, not the juicy pussy, but their
living place ( pics below)

This is where my 5th-6th day LT Girl sleep everyday, with a fan that you
can't imagine in your house, no TV, just a bed and a table.

She pay 4000 bath for that room, no one share that room with her for the
moment. Other Girls pay around 500 bath with 5 girls in small little room like
that.

She have a baby and husband leave her for another girl
Every month she send money back to home for her parents and the baby
She don't have so much money, working as a Non BG only earn 4000 bath in
big city like bangkok.

I pay her 1500 bath per day for 2 day
Buy her some clothes and shoe etc, cost around 1500 bath

Before this, i think we should follow the 1000 bath LT rule
But now i think we should pay them 1500 bath LT, 500 bath is not much for
us, but means a lot to them.

I think how much you pay is up to you. The room is not very bad. If have seen worse.
My thai-wifes sister work in the northeast for 2000 bath a month! Six days a week.

I think you don`t know the reality in thailand? Maybe you have to visit other places than patong/phuket.

But of course i understand if this makes your heart sick....

This is the "typical story". Have children, man run away, need money.... work as fl or bg.

Don`t think too much about this. Just treat the girls well and respectful.

Personally, I've always been generous, but not lavish... I know these ladies have a lifestyle probably less in standards than our own, and it never hurt me to drop a little extra in the bucket. But, that was always dependant on the appreication for their time/services, when an "over tip" was considered, not out of feeling sorry for their life... Yes life is tough... Yes earning a living as a non BG gets a low wage... However in actual fact most BG's earn far more than nurses, degree holders, those who work 'real' jobs for 12 hours a day...

I have shied away from some of the threads (dude's) discussing prices and payment as I also dont pay every time but operate a sort of safety net for girls some of which I have never even slept with.. In fact I was visited tonight by a (very nice looking) girl who I have never had any relations with, but lent her enough to pay her half share of rent before the weekend, since then she has had a customer (or two) and came by to pay it back.. Many of my loans are gifts and understood as such.. To me this takes the money issue on to a much more friendly basis and stops the customer / hooker aspect. Basically they are my friends and lovers and I help them financially as such.

I guess I'm guilty of "overpaying" them. It's no big deal to me, especially when I'm on vacation. At least that's the way I usually feel about it. The most I've ever spend for LT was 3000 baht. Normally, I give 2000-2500. One time I only gave a beer bar girl 1500, but I felt bad about it. She wanted to go again the next night, though, but I had decidied to do something else instead. I suppose if I lived there I'd be more frugal.

Basically she needs it far more than you so try to help her / them when you can..

i havent got a picture of a worse room,but next trip will get one.my lt bg stays in a room same size as that with 3 other girls,on a matress on the floor.its a dump,and there are 3 other rooms connected to it with the same amount of girls to a matress.there living room is a dump but does have a tv,no air con or fan at all.

Exactly, how much you pay for LT is entirely up to you. If a girl quotes higher and you dont want to pay, then just move on as there are plenty of others around to pick from. You cannot compare a BG working in a bar, with other types of employment as there is no comparsion.

Girls dont expect to get higher rates for LT, but if someone comes along and does pay higher than the supposedly board impossed 1K, then whats the problem.

I dont tend to take pictures of bad places to stay but I have seen far far far worse.. Also its very normal for a new arrival to turn up with just a bag of clothes and a room to be almost empty, check it again in a year.

One of my girls stays in a shared room (not very often but I insist she keeps it) that looked not much better than that when I met her, since then I have bought some sheets and pillows as well as curtains and a DVD... Its now livable...

You need to get out of a western mindset, I personally have lived in rooms not much better than that for periods of my life, its all about adjusting.

Note this, 4000 Bath IS expensive for this room. I knew girls who payed 2-3000 for a bit better.

My TG, payed also 4000. But she had a real small house with kitchen 2 bedrooms and a kitchen! All very small, but much better for the price! Of course she was not a bg and did not have to stay in Patong (not far from the Phuket zoo) that's proberly why she got a better deal!
