I was reading my Trigger Point therapy book - self help......and it says to work on and look for TPs in the infraspinatus. But Ill do both. Ive been trying to do it myself with a ball and a wall, but not as affective.
Do you know, are most physical therapists able to do trigger point massage or any massage? THe place i was going to, the PT just left and I saw the new person today and I mentioned TP, NMT, and she tried to do "deep work" on my scap.......it was a joke! She kept asking me if she was hurting me....and I told her I couldnt even FEEL what she was doing. It wasnt deep work at all.....it was effleurage, and not even done that well. SOrry to sound so neg, but Im paying her, and it was for nothing. SHe wouldnt even stretch me out! The last pt was really working me, stretching me and then digging in to get the adhesives broken up. THis lady wouldnt do anything! she actually argued with me about going to see an MD bc she wanted to make sure this is what I have. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE.
sorry, im just really frustrated. I dont know where to look for someone to work my trigger points, except for fellow students from massage school.
