At that time we were unxpirienced in whole that P4p thing. Actually,we didn't even have plans to get involved in the scene,so we were tottaly unprepared.Until we tried,that is.

yes. its the quality on offer. one FL that i mentioned in a previous thread, turned down 2 normal looking guys, and then turned down (for the 2nd time) a very young and handsom man. so what makes pinot think that he's going to be able to swing this girl for 1k baht when 3 guys previous can't even get to the seforum.xxxe of buying the girl 1 drink 55555. i recon the day she takes 1k baht for LT will be in 10 years when she hits 30. i didnt negotiate anything with this girl, i just left 2k with her as that IMO is what i think is right, and what i think she deserves. she in fact probably deserved a hell of a lot more, but expects a hell of a lot less. so maybe 2k is meeting somewhere in the middle?

these diamonds will not be accepting 1000bt LT in patong. even in patts i couldn't imagine (or even want to try, i'm not a tight ****) trying to pay any girl i'd been with LT 1000 bt. - example:

on xmas day i went to go and find my present, and found her in Living dolls gogo. she was absolutely killer looking, and was in fact the smartest and ambitious BG i've ever spoken to. shes already bought her own business just off walking street and half way through her first year doing a degree online in business studies. shes got 3 weeks left to go working in living dolls and has paid for her own leaving party in the same venue. the barfine on xmas day was 2k before midnight and 1.5k after. it was about to hit midnight and i was trying to negotiate with the mamasan that 1.5k was absolutely ridiculous and as much as i want to take this girl i'm not paying it (i was lying (thai style?), i'd have paid any sum for this girl 55555). the girl told me that she would go with me for 1.5k (1k less than she would normally, 2.5/3.5k was her minimum for farangs, 3.5/4.5 minimum for japanese) if i'd take her, so it would be a total of 3k for her and the BF (her words). i said ok and paid the BF, we went to B-52 for 1, insomnia for 1, holywood for 2 and a sheesha, then back to the loom. regardless of our 'agreement' (a first for me) i still gave her 2k in the morning.

she would have been content with 1.5k i imagine, but i knew she was lowering her price because she wanted to go with me and gain face over her friend (who was trying to go with me long before she tried to). i could see what she was up to and i know lots of them are quite *****y about these things. plus it was xmas day and the place was absolutely packed, she was one of the best looking girls there so there was absolutely no reason i could see why she could have just jumped on seforum.xxxe and found another punter within 10 minutes and easily got her 2.5/3.5k. point is i couldn't imagine trying to negotiate down from her 1.5k to this whole 1k you guys are on about. giving this absolute babe who i'd just had one of the best xmas nights of my life with, ****ing 1k... £20. just putting it into perspective, but IMO how lame would that be. i'm paying nearly 4k for the hotel room per night so how can i not even muster up 2k for these gorgeous models i end up taking home and having a great night and ****ing the living daylights out of.

i'd feel no guilt in paying 1k for a possibly disease ridden bint off pattaya beach or for some middle of the road beer bar girl. but i'd rather have the night off than to waste any time and effort on any of those. JMO

from my point of view, for what its worth, there are some aussies that give us a bad name around the world, but i havnt found alot in patong that are running amok, and to tarnish us all into that bracket is a bit unfair, unless of course you dont like aussies all that much??

I think I put in my post I don't go to the beach in Patts, it's not good, horrendous in fact, and too busy and that I like Koh Lan and you're saying you drive or take a boat to get to a nice one too then same-same?
You still miss my point, I wasn't saying I didn't like Phuket or Patong in particular, I was just saying Patts has this really bad rep and is stereotyped for one thing and that I liked to hear one genre of music when I'm out etc...

I guess I can compare this to my job, which is working in a lapdance club, so I do sympathize Old Hands, coz I'm so bored and jaded about my job but my mates think I'm so lucky.

Surely nobody pays 2000bht for a freelancer, though, that's insane and to be honest needlessly over the the top?!

Don''t you think that the "old" Patong is gone forever G? Look at the holiday sections in the UK press. Thailand (along with Dubai) is being ramped up and no longer a mystery and unaffordable.
Those very groups of p1ssheads who have been going to Ibiza/Aya Napa for years have a new destination........................Thailand.

Add the ease of P4P into the mix and it's no wonder young guys are making Patong/Phuket one of their top destinations. It's a natural progression that saddens those who remember the old times. But its happening already and I bet in 10yrs or less LOS will be as popular as Greece and other European countries to visit.

As for families visiting, well, as you know I brought my whole family along for a few trips, and LOS was only a last minute decision over Mexico for somewhere "different". I am guessing that is the case with a lot of other families. LOS is affordable, in fact sometimes cheaper to visit than Euro spots, so the families will keep coming.

In June there were less BGs but to offset that, there are fewer punters! Still plenty of very nice girls.
I like it when it's quieter so xmas/new year aint for me, but i would not hesitate to visit at any other time as there will be plenty of girls available IMHO

I haven't been to patts yet and not sure that i ever will as i like to do lots of things on holiday and phuket just seems to have more on offer as a holiday destination. Regular punters would know more than me bet it would seem unlikely that there would be more or better girls in one place than another. If you take a girl home they all seem to know who you took and from where so the girls telegraph is very strong. Girls chase money and if the pickings are better in patong you could expect bus loads to be arriving.
