I discovered that was BS in most cases by the end I generally paid 1000-1500bht LT, and most of the places they said were the best, were lame and full of mutts. A prime example Pattaya Secrets forum. Secrets, one of the worst go-gos, ugliest girls in Patts with some of the most, if not the most expensive drinks. OK, to be expected as it's on their forum. Pattaya Addicts, is more subtle in that the fact that some of its biggest advertisers are go-gos which just so happen to have great reviews! Also lame! However, contrary to this, the infamous Dave the Rave who works in Angelwitch BKK is totally objective about other places on his forums and I respect that. Wonder what the peoples' agenda is here?

I'm so looking forward to coming back to LOS this time. I'm just using forums as a general guide, and to take a lot with a pinch of salt unless comes from a lot of sources and people on here are only re-enforcing this...

you definitely missed the point here. and read my response incorrectly. you like the patong scene, which is 99% beer bars - you went to patts and sat in gogo's and are trying to compare the 2. they are completely different. there are loads of beer bars in patts which are the same style and have the same type of BGs as patong, you just somehow missed them. the way you wrote your post sounded like you were walking around patts with a stinking attitude because you obviously did not like the place from the outset

giving you a bad attitude, like that what ever happens you're going to struggle to have a good time.

you can have loads of sanuk with gogo girls. if you're gonna sit there with a face like a slapped **** then of course shes going to get up and go back to dance. when she does that it means she's written you off. if she liked you she would have stuck around

again, you're not reading me right. i've never said no, i'm not as previously specified ie a 'professional' or 'tight ****', in beer bars i buy, and i have a fuking good time as well. ask anyone whos drank with me at MTB. but the result is a much bigger dent in the pocket due to this, so i dont go down the route of beer bar girls very often. id rather find a FL in a club and not have to pay BF, if i like her i can see her again or spend the next day and not worry about messing about with the bar, paying further BF's and spending time there etc. you do not have to pay for LDs, you pay the same prices that you or i pay for a beer. her friends buy their own drinks and you never get asked so you're never put in that position (as there is no profit for them so they dont care).
other scenario is find a stunning number in a gogo, take her out of there ASAP and then go hit up some other bars or clubs and have your sanuk there, doing your own thing. thats how i like to do it anyway, just my opinion that is all..

you just sound like you went about it all wrong. but no harm done, i can see why you think patts is a sh1thole. it absolutely is i couldn't agree more! but a fun sh1thole though...
