Girl rates in patong...

I was in Patong in august and november this year. Some girls hinted they're expecting 2000 BHT when I proposed to go to hotel (sometimes the price never came up). If they were cute, nice to talk to, didn't "starfish", stayed the night and also recieved some action in the morning, I usually gave them 3000 BHT. I have absolutely no regret in giving them the extra 1000 BHT.

I've found out that the main expense were all the drinks I bought in the bar, beacause the girls ask you to ... ("One tequilla for me? Oh, one for me too ??? What about one for my friend ... ??"). You can easily burn 3000 - 5000 BHT per night this way. But maybe they just smell it's hard for me to say no to them in that regard ...

Ofcourse, the bars are always a lot of fun, it's the necessary part of socializing for me in Patong, but after a few days I prefer to stay less time in bars (1 hour instead of 4) and to have 2-3 hottie's phone numbers and call them up when I feel to.

God, I love LOS ....

Hey i am not a cheapo... for ST i paid 1000B, LT 1500 to 3000B depending on the service of the gal..massage HJ paid at 1000B(Is that too much? cos pattaya only paid 500B, whereby it hard to get this price in the massage palour...could it be most of them agree with the price quoted by the massage gal as i have heard before that some other guys agree to pay 2000B for a HJ)

I like patong this is my 3 trip in less than 2 years..in fact am planning for the 4th trip this coming aug even thou i am in patong now...

i have been to pattaya before...pattaya has too much beer bar, agogo, disco.. too many gals but quality is not as great as patong...

Only wish i have is patong have the same transport arrangement as pattaya,, ride for a Bus is only 20B from 1 end to other, unlike Tuk Tuk in Patong...

From Urban Patong Hotel just behind jungceylon a ride for tuk tuk is aleast 100B..

Well unfortunately for you, prices for Aussies may get cheaper in the not too distant future due to the proposed Jetstar/Air Asia alliance. This will probably increase the number of Aussies heading to HKT. I sincerely hope this does not get on your tits too much.

No, the nice beaches are a drive or a boat away from Patong, same-same for the buildings and history as in Patts, when I go to Koh Lan etc or take the walk up the hill to the temples and the big buddha at the top.

Like I said, it's that snobbery that makes it better for the likes of me. Being in a club full of sweaty blokes in Chang and Singha vests just isn't my bag, but maybe it's yours and you'd probably like Jomtien or Boyztown in that case, ha-ha-ha!

The weather is a lot more consistant too there. As a fully confirmed tanorexic, I'm not impressed with losing 2 days tanning from my holiday. I'm from London, and I'm not gonna see the bloody sun for 6 months when I get home.

this is the same problem with the lonely planet forums as well - no one searches.

sometimes it's ok though, if the regulars want to asnwer then they will.

at the end of the day forums are about an online community providing information, but having to answer the same question 10 times in a month gets old.
