For me, so far none of the gals that i pick up from Hollywood and tiger has talk abt price in advance. there is some time, the gal just woke up and left alone without asking for money..

Of cos, i will make a effort to look for her the next day and pay her. cos i dun want to broke the rule here...thou i am still single...

...LAME-LAME AND VERY DIFFERENT FROM BANGERS OR PATTS!!!

So I paid 1000ST and 1500LT so far, but why I don't know?!
No wonder the girls charge what they charge and rarely negotiate, it's a sellers' market here. About 3 guys to every girl, none of which have been a patch on Bangers or Patts girls lookswise. I, inccidently, hate mongering in go-gos but it was my first time in Bangers and the top Cowboy and Nana girls were supermodel hot. I paid 2000bht ST and 3500 LT and thought nothing of it because they were outta this world and no starfish either. Also, fleelancers in clubs in Patts, my preferred method, are much hotter and half the price of Phuket 500 ST and 1000 LT tops.

In Phuket's defense, Samui was 5:1 guys to girls and the birds were dog rough. I don't even think the clubs are better here, which really disappoints me.

For all you snobs that think Patts is for Nonces, I'll let you into a little secret...Ya wrong...Clubs better, girls hotter and 2:1 girls to guys and half the price. If you are under 40, you clean up...period...

Still, it's my 4th night here, and i haven't given up quite yet. It's my birthday and I just hope i find a present to myself later.:wai: Still looking forward to being back in Patts though, sorry...

Yes, nobody owes anyone anything. I think you'll agree though that a thread would flow better if the people that are keen to get involved are left to it. The "use the search" function responses don't achieve much and often kill the mood.

I have nothing against "Happy Birthday" threads. I'm just saying that I would prefer to see old topics brought back to life than nothing new to read...each to their own. I do take my own advice and don't get involved in those threads.

why do all the thai families go there then? when i was there id say half the holidaying populus (in the day) were thai.

also loads of groups of young thai's who've come down from bkk for a long weekend on the beach and the clubs

when i was there there were 2 coach loads of disabled thai teenagers, with all their carers etc all out for the day in jomtien

as for the farangs. there are plenty of russian families as well

in my personal opinion, i'm 100% with you - WHY would anyone consider patts as an option if mongering was not on the agenda. i have no fuking idea either, but some people do. what ever it was i must have missed it 555555555

Yeah your probably right, tho I was advised by another EBM that the more you try to lower the price the less you get out of them when you hit the work bench (Aussie slang for bed Dodge), his advice, pay them what they are worth and reap the rewards.... no end of conflicting advice on here tho, guess thats why its absorbing so much of my time....

1500 is a realistic price for a standard freelancer, and if you wish to set this as the absolute maximum you're willing to pay, that's fine. There are some who will accept even less.

Do bear in mind that just as you set an upper limit on what you're prepared to pay, most freelancers set themselves a lower limit on what they're prepared to accept.

In setting an absolute limit on what you are prepared to pay, you will be denying yourself access to those freelancers who simply will not accept 1500. I'm talking about that select few who by their sheer youth and beauty, simply command more.

To say that you can get any freelancer you want for 1500, especially in a place you've never been before, is very ambitious. Having said that, I wish you all the best in your endeavours.

Well I would say for the Thais it is the location. They can drive there for a weekend. And I bet to them, compared to where they live, that Pattaya is a modern city. So shopping is probably a big draw. As well as the cool breeze.

And to the Russians, it must be a cheaper alternative and they can act like the twats that they are in Pattaya without standing out. 555

I must admit my LT costs are rising or perhaps I am becoming a bit of an "Old Romantic" in my older years!

I normally give them a 'K' (as it's the norm and the un-written going rate) and if I know that particular girl uses One to Call (My prefered Provider) I can get all gooey inside and hand her a hundred bahter one to ring home and check on her kids or if the sponsership money for the month has come through etc

I occasionally send them out for Noodles and say silly things like "Get yourself something while your there as well" and the costs soon start mounting up I can tell you!

I've occasionally given them an umbrella from my vast collection of umbrella's for the long trudge back to their digs on the proviso they sign an IOU to the effect that I will get the umbrella back at some point.

I've lost count of the t-shirt 'dresses' I've given away as 'freebies' to enable them not to be stared at by the early risers of the village.

I guess in my own way I liked the idea of going to Thailand for cheap and un-meaningful sex with as many different girls as possible and I am trying to ensure that continues for the thousands of people who come along after who complain it is all getting so expensive and all that!

I can get a 5K un-meaningful shag in Rochdale, they will still smile, have a laugh, NOT want to move in with you or have you support their invisible extended family and tell you how good you are in bed inclusive of that price as well.

If it's the 'feel good' factor people seek by giving the girls more then good on 'em! - They'd only be in a factory, building site or a shop on about 9K a month otherwise, so you are doing your bit for the Thai economy and all that! Which is good.
