just to get back on topic, have just returned today from 3 weeks in los, imo 1000 baht is the base rate for Lt for an average performance , but if a girl provides you with a great time, or you especially like her, why not give her a few hundred baht extra for a tip.....

personally i would feel embarressed giving a girl anything less that 1000 baht

plus they get a kickback when someone orders a lady drink plus they get a share if they are bar fined... 1

They must be frequently tested for AIDS... 0

and the bar owner cannot employ them if they test positive... 0

They have to work all agreed on days and if they do not show up for a particular day they get fined. 1

I experienced that many are big drinkers. I hung out with one BG and her friends for a few days in Tiger and they cruised through a few bottles of whiskey with some coke and ice. One night I was drunk, I think they gave me a glass that was filled with 70% whiskey and 30% coke or so. :
Needless to say my performance was sub par later in the hotel.

I've heard some good things about Peru, but the info has come more or less 2nd hand, as I have not talked with either of these guys since they were divorced and it is their exes that are friends of mine who told me that they are pleased as punch with their young Peruvian GFs, and one of them has brought her back here and married her.

8 yrs ago, I had a Peruvian GF for awhile. She was a great little gal, both in and out of the sack, but had several little kids, so I wasn't in a hurry to rush into something. I personally like to pay 1500 BHT LT but that does not imply I put down others, name call them, try to get their postings deleted or think they are morally inferior to me just because they pay a different amount. If someone wants to negotiate 500 BHT for LT and the BG agrees all is fine with me. I can imagine late in the morning on Bangla some BG's prefer to have something over nothing. Now again, not my piece of cake but perhaps for others.

I probably have to agree with George mate. I dont think ill pay it, but if i was to pay it i wouldnt be taking a girl home everynight like i do now. It'll have to be maybe 2 or 3 max and that would still break the bank.

I enjoy going to LOS not for only the girls but while im there might as well get in there, and yes the goin rate is always paid and sometimes a little more because it is affordable but 10 large is a bit much....

I know its what if, and again like George said i think the girls would prob make more baht if the prices were a little or a lot lower that 10,000. If i was paying 10 for a girl, i would be very picky as for now its like she's right for tonight ill go for that one tommorro...

Thats prob why the Thai girls go to Hong Kong and Singapore to work for a bit because the going rate is much higher than what they get in LOS.. One actaully rang me last night from Singapore and i asked her what she gets paid and she said 5000 ST and 8000LT...

To be honest JayBee if I lived in the US I wouldnt probably go to LOS very much at all; if ever. Just like LOS and SEA is the back yard of Australia so the whole of South America is the back yard of the USA. There is so much on offer in South America that you could easily spend years and years just doing that continent. And apart from Brazil it is the same language right throughout (Spanish) so once you have that down pat you are good to go just about everywhere and in every country.The quality of the merchandise that is on offer is, on the whole, IMHO superior to what is offered in LOS, the standard of living available to expats is far better and once you get away from the usual haunts the prices are about the same as LOS or even better.

If you are looking for a GF /partner/ wife then look no further than Argentina. OMG what a nation of stunners and there are all types, latinos, hispanics, caucasians, negroids and an unbelievable amount of mixed breeds. I was in Argentina at christmas time climbing Aconcagua and I hooked up with a 24y/o law student who was a mix between Japanese and Latino. OMG I could have put her in my pack and brought her home, she was real keeper that one and if I was domiciled in the states I probably would have thought long and hard about bringing her back as a permanent live in there.

If the average rate was seen to rise to 10k, then the answer is very simple, only those able to afford 10k would take any girls, others that could not would go elsewhere or not take any girls.

I on the otherhand would open a beer bar or go go bar tomorrow, as now we are getting some serious money to be made on BF, LD's alone and my staff would be loaded!!

Before you get the answer you are looking for, to proove the point you are trying to make with your question, remember there is a lowest level that individually, we do not feel comfortable with, nor accept is a fair rate. This level may alter slightly between those of us that have certain moral standards and experience levels to know, but you either except as an example, 1 baht would be insulting, would be too low and would make you a cc or you do not.

Then from 1 bht as the lowest we would all agree is too low, you have things like forums, that we all discuss this aspect or what we have paid, and hence the realisation of a generally paid/accepted rate, that we refer to as 'the going rate'.
