This has always been a touchy subject. However, as indicated by several threads about extras scattered about the board, lately LE seems to be having a bit of a chubby going for busting MP's. And they *are* using reviews from this board (as well as others) in their investigation.

We Admins have chosen to set a reasonable limit on details allowed in reviews. The fact that your post was edited some time after the original post is due to the fact that we don't read every post/thread as it is posted. When I finally read your review, and found it to be too descriptive in the listing of services offered. Hence, I edited it.

To address your specific questions:

While I see your concern on Extra's and the need to exclude them, it would certain hurt the reviews if even "fantasy-like" descriptions are eliminated.

Whether you say you got Fellatio, a blow job, or just allude to the fact are equally clear in their meaning, and can provide evidence of illegal activities.

1)I would like to know if indeed this censorship (editing) is happening and without an acceptability standard how would one comply ?

The acceptable standards are clearly indicated in sticky's in the Toronto Massage section.

2)Are we not to mention words like release, dispense, deposit ? Show us a typical review format that can allow for comparisons!

The fact that a release is offered is probably as far as we want to go. Even though this is still illegal, it's fairly common knowledge that it happens. Nobody's going to use massageplanet.net reviews as proof of this. Check out some of the more senior members review style. We only delete a small fraction of the reviews/posts. Many more stand, and are extremely useful.

3)The PM activities are increasing due to these restrictions and it is cutting into my time to enjoy this board and its reviews since I spend a lot of time answering other's PM to me on my reviews.

Easy solution to that is to not put "PM me for details" in your post. By providing information on extras to other board members (reputable or otherwise) you run the risk of distributing said information into LE hands. If that happens, the fun for all of us is gone. We don't need to share all our hidden gems with the whole world. Well, we can share them, just be careful how much info you release...

In short, these rules aren't in place to kill the hobbyist's fun. They're in place to enhance it. Police raids on MP's don't help anyone, except the politicians.

MPAs get pushed for extras by many clients, I think they know how to handle it, thats an excuse she gave you.

This is rapidly disinigrati ng in to a pissing contest. The issue is not who's right and who's wrong. It's what best for the massageplanet.net comminity that's the most import thing. And what's best for us is for the mps here in toronto to be as liberal as possible, and as free from LE as possible. To that end we should all watch what we say and what we pm.

Give me a break guys. It is Fred's board. We should be thanking him and the others that work at keeping this board up and running. If you don't like the rules get the hell out! Using this board is like driving a car it is a privilege not a right and if you do something stupid like DWI or improper post that risks the well being of others then F U and good riddance. There are very few rules here and all that is asked is that you follow them. Geez my 7 year old and 4 year old can figure that one out why can't some of the guys here do that. Give me a break guys. It's not my board, its Fred Zed's and these rules have been guidelines ever since we found out from the MP owners that the LE folks are printing them out and shoving it into their faces as proof these activities are taking place.

What do you want us to do? Do you want us to let you guys post anything and everything and let you ruin it for everyone else who enjoys the hobby? Don't you realize that if LE sees constant mention that so and so at this place is offering BJ's for $x, that they are going to take a walk over to that place and try to shut it down?

Christ, because some of you couldnt keep your mouths shut, we have lost quite a number of high mileage mp's that were worth our while to visit. We have also lost a few ladies to retirement because they couldnt handle the publicity that some of you gave them. The "extras" list is a freaking joke because more than half the ladies on the list dont offer those services mentioned. Why? Because some guys wanted the list so badly, they made up stories to get it.

Certain things have to be deleted such as references to specific body markings, etc. Christ, I've even seen phone numbers in full view here as well as on Canbest and other sites. These phone numbers were the girl's private numbers and they were given to people they thought they could trust and you go ahead and violate that trust by posting that information in public.

See, this is why moderators are needed to keep things under control and thats what you keep forgetting. If you don't like it...thats fine, we are not forcing you to stay here and keep posting. So obviously you do enjoy the boards as thats why you remain.

So please......dont make our jobs more difficult. Even Anon.penet.fi is getting fed up at those that continiously cross the line.

Perhaps massageplanet.net should ban the PM feature. What else would it be used for?

Maybe massageplanet.net can allow fellow hobbyists to view other members e-mail addresses thus eliminating the PM method of communication. If someone does not want their e-mail address known, then they can simply hide it.

As for LE & PM's are you concerned that LE has several aliases on the board and is using the PM system to gain information that is not reported on the open forums? If that is the case, then why bother with the posting rules if LE can get the information it seeks via the PM circuit?

Another thing that makes me chuckle is why would LE want to stifle the reporting that goes on the boards? This is like shutting down a narc or an insider - Just doesn't make sense.

I can understand that the MPA's would like to keep a lid on any illegal activities they are providing to customers, however the reputable spa's (and MPA's who are employed there) should have nothing to worry about. And the MPA's should also use better judgement as to whom they are providing extras for.
