You both have good reasons for your points of view, and you need to focus on what you agree on. Neither of you are hagglers as far as I know, so you're both doing your part at not pissing the ladies off by being cheap bastards.

Keeping them happy during your session by paying at the least the minimum and keeping them happy for the remainder of their stay are two different things though. It takes a balance between good reviews and good customers to keep them coming back.
