I thought the music was great right up until falling off that big cake stand thingie in the middle of the dance floor..........Not sure how I got up there either! On a normal night my short, fat hairy legs won't reach!

I don't think anyone noticed and I probably got away with it. :embrassed

Dancefloor was pretty much packed continuously for the 1-2 hours I was in there! Had to have a quiet chat with a bloke who had one of those laser thingies you buy off the girls in the street, kept shining it in the eyes of some friends.......So felt the need to have a quick chat with him about stopping it or me inserting it!

Downside for me: Only had San Mig at some extortionate price and it wasn't even cold! no:

Agree, kind of bizarre that if you hold a 'membercard' you pay more for a drink than any other tourist who pays to get in. Thought it to make more sense to give your 'regular' customers a benifit.
(I do not mean the free ticket you can get on the street though..)

Last night arrived at around 2 AM after partying elsewhere until then. Vibe was good and the DJ actually found some direction, he was playing more the kind of music I would expect in a club. Played mostly house and even a bit electro stuff.
First time I payed, prices for Jack Daniel's 140 Thb + 30 Thb for mixer(?), San Miguel 140 thb, Gilbeys Gin 120 Thb. Drinks not strong.......

In addition, member card does not give entrance to VIP room. Heard prices for membership with VIP status of 20 K to 50 K. Memory a bit clouded on the conversation and will need to check again.

They closed at 4 AM, same time as Baya and my best guess others.

I was really beginning to like the second floor but now the worst thing has happened.

DJ No Beat has returned from Finland. And he still has his very special skill of not playing a beat for longer than 5 minutes, abuse of the break beat, and clearing the dance floor / bar just as fast as last high season. Maybe faster! You may not recognize him at first as he is in disguise (lost his really cool pony tail). But once you hear it you'll know it is him.

I already filed a complaint with the farang lady manager. Told her straight out to do themselves a favor and send his a$$ packing back home. Or just don't make money again this high season.

The club with normally better music is La Baia. Their DJ's coming from Groovalax in Bangkok. Maybe an idea....

Its growing on me, I realy didn't like the club to begin with but slowly its getting better and had a great night there saturday, so good I am slowly finding out about it two or three days later!!!

I popped in just for a quick look see for someone, noticed Alfie was there loitering inconspicuosly around the bar area and thought quick free beer and out of here brussel smartish but of course then had to stay for another to get my entrance value sorted out and make me feel although I had spent 250 I had saved 30 in the long run of things all being equal and up being down etc, lucky for me Hobbsey came to the rescue and insisted old specky had to leave immediately for pastures new.

totally agree with you on la baia music. Where you at La Baia for the anniversary party?

The waitresses were dressed up funky. The music was awesome, the best you hear in patong. And they had these really cool dancers. Part sexy, but also very arty and classy. Girls enjoyed it as much as the guys. Had a very slick vibe.

If seduction could work these aspects into the club, they would be the place. Also suggest one more vip area behind the dj booth for bottle service. Then both vip areas have the hottest waitresses. All the guys with money I know want this. Getting guest dj's down from BKK is easier than filling a dance floor with sand..

Again just b*itchin' cause I really like seduction, go often, take lots of people there, and see the potential. It's so close...

Chris, you should see if you could buy it out. As you seem to know more about how to run it, than the managers put in charge by the company that presently own it.

Went there first with Geir (11.30pm) and again with the Mrs and met up with Nicke (3.00am).

Its not quite the ambiance of Shark Club yet - but I loved the place ... this is what I have missed so much since Shark Club got closed down.

The fit-out is first class - great lighting, sound system - just oozes style.

Has a proper gallery over the open dance floor - no vile cement crap to block the view, and no tables cluttering the dance floor. Podium in the middle for the show-offs.

Music level is just right - not turbo boom-boom Thai levels that you get ear drum damage and can still hold a conversation. Farang DJ was good - need to hear more to get a better impression though.

Pricing - no entrace fee (thanks Geir) and later when letting general public in - no-charge either, not sure if this will last. Beers 140 Baht and JD/coke 170 Baht - not prohibitively expensive.

Anyways gets a massive thumbs up from me - and hope that its a success, a very welcome addition.

There are some points dropped - was told by a BM here about being short changed no: - hope this is not common occurence - especially for an expat. Lack of waitress is a bit of a concern - you have to order drinks at the bar - but sure staff will be increased as business picks up. Downstairs was as cold as Finland in places - tweaking of AC required.

Will see how it develops - no comment on TG availablity - I personally dont care - as its somewhere I will enjoy going with the Mrs, but I do appreaciate that many BM's here will be on the prowel for talent.

Went again last night 05/11 - twice! - at 11.45pm was beginning to fill up - wet Loy Kratong was bonus for them as the street festival was rained out. (NB - Tonight is the Miss Bar Girl Patong Contest in Bangla Road - not Seduction). Went back in at 2.30am and was much busier than pervious night and LiL & Co were partying on - was good vibe and pity could not hang around any longer. Further info on prices; Corona 180 Baht -- SM Light 140 Baht.

First of all, I thought that 'Seduction' is a crap name for a night club. It sounds more like a lap dance venue to me. But that is my one one and only criticism of the place.

I first went to Seduction on their 3rd night of opening and I was very impressed. Before that, I had been to Tiger and Tai Pan on several occassions, which quite honestly, I did not enjoy either at all.

For me, it was a more classy venue, especially compared to Tiger, which I thought was over themed to the extent of bordering on cheesy/tacky. Most importantly, I absolutely detested the music in Tiger, not to mention not having enough room to be able to dance (not that I can!).

Seduction was slightly more expensive, but worth the extra cost. There was free admission and free drinks, although this of course will not be the case when it becomes established.

Seduction kind of reminded me of my home town night club, which incidently I normally hate! But here, it was a welcome change. I would describe it as a 'classy but small town, night club' in that it has to cater for a variety of tastes to appeal to as many customers as possible. Will that appeal here with competition? I'm not sure to be honest. Still, with Tiger seemingly playing the same tunes all the time, Seduction definately appealed to me and I hope it does well, with its combination or RnB and popular dance chart and cheesy music compared to the 'eurotrance' (?) played in tiger.

Still, they at least give some kind of impression. I've also got a couple of pics of Nicke dancing the night away in seduction and looking quite smooth!!!
