Good to hear that they still maintain quality.

Eventhough copying is not to be recommended, I would suggest Seductions management team to have a look at La Baia. With the prime location of Seductions it should not be to hard to get the same vibe going. Go for a quality club feeling and market it as such. Focus on music, it is why people go to clubs...

As others, do not belief that the 'beach thingy' is the right way to go. The idea is obvious coming from a club in Bangkok, which has been doing this the last months a few times....... They brought in good DJ's though to compliment the beach party. Will Seductions do the same? Or will it be the same as every day with a layer of sand on the dancefloor....?

Seduction has some auto beatmix looking software on there also.. 'scratch' something but I looked online and couldnt find it..

Have toyed with tracktor, PCDJ, DJFX, this was new to me..

Look we have all said our bit.. I think its been made 100% obvious.. I personally am not going to repeat it any more.. The DJ is crap, that means the whole club doesnt reach its potential, its up to management to decide if they listen or want to ignore feedback.

I even wondered if the farang DJ is perhaps an investor ??

visited Seductions for first time last night.................NYE

place was absolutely jam packed with about 500 punters lined up outside......

liked it inside....best western style nightclub in Phuket that I've been to....no doubt!!!

not many FLs about but plenty of up for it falangas.......?????.....good music + light show......will be back over the next coup[le of weeks....

I agree, in most top venues, the club will book in a dj because he/she is known for and plays a particular type of music be it House, Trance, R & B or whatever.

To book in a dj not knowing what records he's got and telling them to play what they want is a bit daft.

I'm off to Seduction on Saturday and i'm looking forward to it.

I went there today again, today even more busy than last night and I got 3 beers for free.

I also met Lightemup and LivinLOS there tonight among the guys from MTB.

I like the place myself, not everyone may agree with me, but it suits me fine. Still better than Tiger disco in my opinion. If you look for a girl/freelancer Tiger or taipan may still be better choice.

smart a$$ In fairness the guy just got back. the managers weren't watching the customers walk out...I was. Doesn't take a wiz to connect the dots. FYI, the manager did the right thing and several times said they really do want customer feedback. Really all they need to do is read this thread started last year and see how much people hate DJ No Beat.

Funny, first time I had seen a club here use the western trick of making people line up outside to make it look busier inside. 50 people waiting at the bottom of the steps but the second floor was empty. Glad I got the VIP card so we can skip the line and get to drinking.

I think they need some huge LCDs upstairs with cameras on the dancefloor. RIght now the second floor feels disconnected.

Overall I think it is getting better there all the time. Good addition.

correct post above,,,,"scratch" sytem might be,"the final scratch system" they are using,rock hard has it also,2 12 inch "ghost" vinyl plates,,its an amazing system,many top djs endorsing it.select music from pc,,box of tricks in the middle between turntables and pc(i think) automatically loads(somehow)on to the 12 inch plate,,use as vinyl,,it is truely amazing piece of kit,,look forward to some more reports.

agree with ATM re: 2nd floor. It is good to be able to go somewhere a little quieter but the upstairs really does feel like a different place.

I applied for the VIP card but haven't heard anything back. 500 baht entry fee at 3am on New Years morning was a little extortionate i thought also. Fair enough to get in for midnight but after that I was literally paying double for nothing.
